Question about your NAC

Was just wanting some clarification from anybody that knows...

From NOW brand NAC:

Selenium(as L-Selenomethionine) 25 MCG 35%

Why does this prooduct also contain selenium and chelate in it? To improve absorption or something? And does the bulk NAC powder that nutraplanet offer's also include the selenium/chelate? Does it really even matter? :blink:

It's for the synergistic effect to aid in liver support. The chelated form of molybdenum binds the mineral to an amino acid to enhance absorption. Simply put, the body goes to grab the amino acid and takes along the mineral with it.

The bulk NAC is just straight NAC.
