celery seed extract

Trying to find a brand...it's not a very common product. I know Size recommended Natural Factors, but was wondering if there are any other brands. Was hoping NOW made one but I don't think they do...will look into it.

I think I saw NOW's version on another site, but did not want to pick it up(was waiting for you).

I've used Solaray's in the past, so there's another option for you if you have a relationship with a distributor that carries their products.

Count me in as well, especially if you can get it in bulk.

Any possibility of your carrying bulk broccoli extract powder? The only one that I know of that carries it is BAC.

I saw Solaray's also...how was it in your opinion. Will check and see if NOW has one also.
It was good, worked as expected (no better, no worse than others I've used). I believe it was 500MG per capsule if I rememeber correctly.

I tried looking around for it locally and no one carries it. Would love to order this from you if you started carrying celery seed ext.

What's the 3nb concentration in this?

I honestly don't know. I don't have any empty bottles of it and I haven't used it in quite a while. I also don't believe it stated it anywhere anyway. If my memory is serving me correctly, the capsules weren't all extract, but were 100-150 mg celery seed extract, and the remainder celery seed. I believe the total was was 500mg althogether, and I took one twice a day (I do remember that the bottle suggested 1 cap daily).

3-n-butylphthalide (3nb) is the active compound they found in celery that promotes it's therapeutic effects: reducing blood pressure and helping with arthritis. I'm thinking about going with the Natural Factors like size recommended, it's the only one I could find that actually listed the 3nb content and it's a high concentration.

Natural Factors! Please! And some Aliciin (sp) I can never remember how to spell that.

Damn I should have waited! I will definitely go with Nutraplanet from now on with all my supp needs. I only have to make one stop to get everything I need now!

You got it ;)

Hey Stryder, I just saw that this was out of stock. I was wondering when it would be back in stock because I went to the doctor's office this morning and got an unpleasant BP surprise. I guess it was a bad idea to take my MOHN and M5AA before I went to the doctor's office. But this kinda worried me and I was curious as to when this would be back. Thanks:thumbsup:

I was surprised how quick it sold out. I got it in Friday and by Monday it was all gone. Got more on the way and it should arrive in a couple days...hopefully Thursday. Will let you know when it's available. The M5AA will definetly raise the BP!

What was your reading?

It was 140/86...but I think that it was a bit skewed because I was going to a new doctor and I was a bit nervous about going (white coat syndrome). You never know, but I'd rather not take any chances with my BP. I might go to the store and grab some Hawthorne Berry for the time being. So I'm going to postpone the M5AA for the time being to ease up on my BP, so I'll just finish out with the MOHN and save the M5 for later. I'll test the BP later and see what it reads.

EDIT: I just tested my BP and it came out 143/66. I think that the doctor used the wrong setting on the BP machine when she tested me.
