I recently took advantage of the $11.99 sale on LG's BCAA+EAA. When I opened the container yesterday they smell just like any other grape supplement I have had and I was excited to try them. Upon mixing they were a gray color to match the gray color they were in the container. Upon taking my first sip I was really surprised, very little grape and a bad chemical taste/after taste. Is this how they are supposed to be as it is my first time with this brand? It is one thing for something to taste bad if you're taking it quick but I don't know if I can sip this stuff intra workout repeatedly. I bought a few because LG is a great company but I may eat the cost if this is the case. Anyone else have this experience or did I just catch a bad batch?

Haven't tasted them myself ticco, but I know the revamped the taste a few months back and I had heard some good feedback on the taste.

If you don't want a flavor with your BCAA, you might want to check out the IBCAAs from Primordial Performance. It has a good price point as well.
Thier tax sale is still going on as well

The old formula was awful... That's my honest opinion. Lg listened to customer feedback and def improved the taste.
Play with dosing and liquid amount. I myself use about 25g in 20-30oz of water and it's ALOT better than before. There is some after taste but that's expected withvth EAA content. For everything in there you can't beat it.
I mix mine in the blender with strawberries sometimes using the kiwi strawberry. Comes out money.

Ive always used xtend and nutra bulk bcaas added to it. I just can't think that this is how they wanted their product to be. Maybe im wrong and this is what they are supposed to be like, but it looks like gray dishwater and tastes about the same.

Just some Friday humor...
I wa the same way switching from Xtend. Best advice is tinker with your dosing and water amount. You can also try to flavor it as mentioned above but in the end if u can't take the product you can always try the supplement auction subforum. There is someone who would take it off your hands and it's better than flushing it down the toilet.
Also stop indulging in the dishwater

I've got some tubs also that taste kind of funky. 2 blue ras and one grape and they are both not great. Maybe they were old stock since I got them on discount also. I just add a crystal light stick to my bottle each time and it's fine. You definitely can't beat the price so I will suck it up and chug a lug.

Must be bad batch? Mine tastes great! I have Grape and Watermelon-kiwi, both are great.
Personally xtend is way too sweet. Only one scoop for this guy otherwise it's pretty hard to stand.
