Poseidon NewBe

Hey guys,

Heard too many good things about Poseidon complex to ignore it - just placed an order from NP.

So I need a little help to fit it into my training & supplementation programme.

My current supps: PSlin (preWO), AP, Mono, PFull and usually some sort of stim.

Im thinking of adding Posiedon:

1)with my PSlin meal (early AM) about 1.5 hrs preWO
2) post WO shake
3) before bed

Does this look OK? or should I have a scoop periWO with my BCAAs?

And what about non-WO days - just wake and bedtime doses?

Any help greatly appreciated fellas.

Your outlined plans looks good. You may want to add another dose in with your bcaa's to sip on during your workouts though(as you mentioned). Those two go really good for some reason.

As for non workout days, just stick to a standard morning dose, a dose to sip on mid/through out the day, and night dose and you should see some great benefits from utilizing Poseidon.

Make sure to keep us informed my friend. We are always interested in customer feedback.

Looks good to me!

Also, you may want to start with half scoops at each of those times as the magnesium content can cause stomach discomfort and you may need to ease into it..

Much appreciated fellas - It takes roughly 7-10 days to get stuff sent out here.

Im doing a lot of high-intensity supersets with short recovery, so Im thinking this will give me the edge.

I'll keep you all posted with my thoughts and progress.

Would be keen to hear your feedback. I love this product and find that it works great with BCAA's / EAA's and often carbs pre and peri workout. I use a scoop with relatively low dose amino's ( 5-8 g ) pre and then another scoop with them intra and find this a great combination for recovery and performance.

Poseidon is a very versatile supplement. I have been using it for almost a year now and am still finding new ways to reap the benefits. I think it is definitely worth experimenting with dose timings to find what works best for you.

Team Poseidon -

Product has arrived to Australia - I've had study/exams this week without workouts, but I started taking it immediately.

1 scoop gave that 'blushing' feeling - I like the flush. It would be a good combo with BA, as I like the tingles too.

Anyway, I run at a high body temp for some reason - especially when I sleep. I can wake up in sweats no matter how cold it is.

Ive found the pre-sleep dose mitigates some of the effects of waking mildly dehydrated.

Also, the wake up dose kick start me straight away. I was getting up at 4am to cram for exams yesterday, and boof! Straight into it, focussed - and it was as cold as a witches t^tty too!

Got my first WO tommorrow, so look forward to see how things run.

I have no stomach sensitivity issues, is there any point/benefits to multiple scoops pre, peri or post WO?

Thanks for the feedback so far and glad you really like it!

Just play around with the doses around your workout to see what you like best. I personally get an added boost pre and i like it during to replenish electrolytes as i lift.

PS take it with BA on an empty stomach and enjoy

Thanks Bolt - do you stick to the 1 scoop protocol, or bump it up some?

Poseidon is some great stuff and you can definitely benefit from higher dosing. With that said its best to find your sweet spot with it depending on daily activity levels and such.

Really glad you are enjoying it man! Swell is some great stuff as well. Poseidon has been really impressive for me during this summer running in the heat.

Everything looks good! Poseidon is the one supplement that I can't go without. For a month now, I've been using it with Reset-AD right before bed. I don't use STIMS, but the syneregy between the two is great!
