Caught in a fix with Poseidon...

..okay so I am now into 3rd week of Poseidon and I like it. So much so that I have placed a second order, a bigger size one and am hoping to use it for entire month.

My fix, if thats the right word, is that Poseidon is making me sleep so well at night. Why is that an issue you may ask? Well because I hit the gym at 4:45 am and I am nowadays often late in the gym. It puts me in a fix because the sleep are great, I wake up refreshed and I am sure my body releases more GH when I am sound asleep. So all in all great except getting late

Question: Should I stop taking in Poseidon late in the day so the sleep are good but not as great as it?

Right now I have a shake of Poseidon with Xtend at 1:30 am as my midnight-wakeup shake. Should I go easy on that??

Hmm that is very interesting situation. I am not sure entirely what you can do to not be late for the morning workout. Do you take any stims to help wake u up or take poseidon as soon as you wake(wen i take it in the morning it helps remove the morning fog..)? Maybe you could wake up slightly earlier to offset the being late?

As for the middle of the night dosing are you purposely waking yourself to drink that mix?

I use the stimulants within the Pre-workout drink(am using Ragnarok for now) but otherwise nothing on top of it. However I mix Xtend and Poseidon with Ragna and i do get a better feel overall.

Midnight I normally get up to hit the restroom thats when I have the shake. I am wondering if its the Zinc and Magnesium thats making me sleepy(kinda like ZMA combo). Also I will also say that it is making me release more GH and testosterone(probably due to better sleep). I am off any test booster for months and I have better result, in all manner, than I have had with many industry leading products. This without the cr@ppy Alpha-male feeling where you want to fight every 2 hours.

All in all I would much rather be in this situation than not hehehe. Still trying to dampen the affect just a tad.

I was previously (stopped recently) doing 2g of gaba + 5g of bcaas in a cup bedside in 4oz of water, and sipping whenever i'd wake up during the nite.

Just try taking your last dose in the early evening(if possible). See how your morning wakeups are and report back to us.

It might be worth dropping Poseidon from the midnight-wakeup shake and try taking it before bed instead. Or perhaps you could try and add in some l-theanine as that seems to help me wake up in the morning.

Everyone is different I guess but I would welcome the deep sleep. I am in a similar situation to you 2 out of 8 days ( shift worker ). I take Poseidon to help me get a better sleep and when I wake up I jam 2 shots of blast and some gatorade down my throat before heading out the door. I am up and out within 10 minutes. The first minute after the alarm can be hard but I'm fine after 5 mins.

Conclusion : I think getting up at 4:45 is going to suck either way. I wouldn't sacrifice sleep quality.

Update on this.

I wanted to be sure that Poseidon was one of the reasons, if not the reason, that was getting me good sleep. So past 2 days I switched from Xtend/Poseidon as midnight meal with a Casein drink. Let me say the sleep was nowhere as good. I will carry on this casein research for a week to be sure.

I think you guys should use this attribute of Poseidon for marketing purposes. Sleep/rest is when body builds muscles/does recovery etc etc. It has given me excellent sleep with high energy when I wake up..except of course I miss my gym by 15 minutes everyday!

sounds good man i do note much better sleep and recovery with this. The casein in the middle of night may be a problem because of the digesting of the food interfering with the natural hormonal responses of sleep. This is why i personally do not fall into the worrying so hard about casein right before bed/middle night meals. To each their own though and keep up the experimenting to see all of poseidon's effects!

There are so many benefits that if we tried to market all of them, no one would believe what it does. Poseidon is also very person to person. It will give different benefits to different individuals based on their personal needs. I used to explain it to people as "the oil to your machine". And that's really true because everyone's machine (body) has different needs. I know with me, it gives me better skin color, it really helps my endurance, soreness goes away very quickly... and I feel like crap when I forget to take it for even a day (but then again that doesn't happen much because I am truly addicted, and I freak out when I forget it).
