Blast Review!

Just as a heads up, These great guys here sent me a container of Blast™ to review. I wanted to get a full cycle of it in before giving my opinion but it will be soon.

Okay my Blast™ review...

The container is similar to Poseisdon and has a great label with solid directions and ingredient profile.

The very first thing you will notice upon mixing this is that it dissolves pretty much instantly. The second thing you will notice is the taste...Not really all that great. It isn't horrible by any means but it is really weak. For those who mix this with another flavored product or with a drink like gatorade then you will not have an issue but I'll explain later why this wasn't a good thing in my case.

How I tested this product.

Going off of the ingredient profile I chose to use this as a mild to moderate energy drink with the intent to replace my current replenishing/hydrating drinks (Healthy waters, gatorade,powerades etc). I also did not mix this with any other product. I wanted to treat this as a true replacement to the above drinks and I wanted to see the results without them being skewed.

2 servings
2-4 times a day. Depending on on/off days and bed time.
12-32oz of water to test flavoring

Performance...

I was pleasantly pleased. Minus the weak(imho) flavoring I found Blast™ to do exactly what I believed it would do. I compare this to poseidon with a kick. It has a nice boost in energy without it being too overwhelming which is excellent if you take any other stims/products with stims in it and do not want over kill. A great morning drink to get you going with no sides of jitters or nervousness. Blast™ gives a great refreshed feeling as well. I would use this to replace my current energy drinks and replenishing drinks so the cost of this is great considering it replaces two different products.

Over all 4.3 An Excellent product.

Suggestion: If there's any way to add the flavoring like I received in the Poseidon Beta, that would be great or a way to make this a bit more strong.

Did you use 1 serving or 2? I only ask because I usually mix 2 servings in about 8-10 ounces of water and the flavor is just about right. If you only used 1 serving it would be a bit weak.

Originally we weren't going to flavor BLAST at all as we preferred to have nothing artificial added to it. After tasting the unflavored version, we realized that it was slightly to bitter to release. That's when we decided to add just enough flavoring to cover up the bitter taste of the active ingredients...but not so much that it would cause one to consume an excess of artificial flavoring if they wanted to drink 2-4 servings per day. It was just a much healthier alternative in our opinion.

So it sounds like you were very pleased with the results BLAST gave you, just not crazy about the taste. Is that correct?

Great review Jay, that stack with chaos looks good.

Try reducing the volume of liquid you use with each serving like workin mentioned and see if that doesn't make the taste better.

I agree the blast is a great product. I only take one scoop at a time as needed (about 2/day M-F) and it seems to kick much harder than I expected. A smooth not overpowering energy that is great for everyday activities. Using this to replace all my Rockstar/Monster energy drinks I use to get through the day. Also so much cheaper than buying those everyday.

Right on jason. That's the beauty of Blast. It's quick, convient, and effective for anyone looking for a solid energy mix.

They work very good together. Poseidon Complex is one of the main ingredients on BLAST so if your taking BLAST, it will reduce the amount of Poseidon you need to take.

Poseidon is a natural energy booster...BLAST adds a few goodies to the mix, including some thermogenics. Your getting the best of both worlds, in terms of energy with BLAST. This is assuming you don't mind taking a stimulant of course.

If your looking for purely natural energy, stick with Poseidon only. If you want a clean stimulant that doesn't cause a crash...go with BLAST.

While I was reading this thread, I had an idea.
Basicly I think drinks should come unflavoured but then have seperate flavour modules. So you don't get sick of it and so you can stack them better.
Just an idea.

Just an idea.

Our unflavored options where designed just for that. You can take the supplement and get all the benefits of it, all while mixing it with your favorite drink of choice. Or just take it straight by itself.

Thanks nelix. It also allows those who choose to avoid artificial flavors and colors to take our products knowing they contain none of these.

Damn - I'm so impressed with Nimbus! After my hell-a-shish ACL surgery I downed a huge glass of POSEIDON and felt so refreshed and comfortable.

I actually have to send my ABYSS back because it was opened when I received it - but cannot wait to try it. With my recent surgery, sleep has eluded me to the point that I am getting used to only 3 hours of sleep. I really wished I had some tonight, but I will have to wait a bit longer because of the holiday.

Jay - great review bro! Your opinions are always unbiased and are not driven to please to manufacture- which is respected. There's just not anything to complain about with Nimbus!
