highly doubt anything will come of this any time soon.... HIV mutates so fast i highly doubt that this specific enzyme will work all the time if at all.

If you read the article it already says that the enzyme is capable of identifying every form of HIV in that sample no matter how the HIV had mutated.

How HIV inserts itself into DNA; i.e. the "endpoints" of the insertion is identicle in every form of HIV. If it weren't it wouldn't be able to insert itself or it would have a completely different effect. What is different is the middle portion of the DNA that gets inserted. This enzyme doesn't care about the middle portions, it IDs the endpoints which don't change.

This works for every mutation of HIV.

It isn't ready to be administered yet. One of the biggest tricks HIV is capable of pulling is its ability to hide and remina dormant for months or even years. Heck even the current HIV tests aren't even close to 100% accurate. In order for this cure to work effectively a carrier for it must be able to identify infected cells to deliver this enzyme to.

But whats so crazy about this discovery is they can use the technique to engineer this enzyme to engineer enzymes that will cure any virus they want. CURE, not treat, not vaccinate. CURE.

Yeah, this isn't anywhere near ready for primetime but what we're witnessing here is the beginning of something BIG. Once they get this technique down (probably another decade or so) it can be used to cure all sorts of infectious diseases. We're witnessing the birth of a new branch of medicine IMHO.

It's just very sad that Dr.'s and patients don't even know about this. Tell a friend!!!
What is that funny smell? Is it .... snake oil? After visiting your Natural Medicine Wellness Provider for some UV Light treatments, don't forget to stop off at the Witch Doctor so he can sacrifice a goat to your ancestor spirits so they may watch over you.

There is no cure for Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS)

There cannot be a cure for a syndrome!

It is like trying to cure the syndrome of the common cold !

AIDS is a syndrome or an observance of a group of subjects with similar symptoms.

These AIDS symptoms are mostly cancers and pneumonias within a group of mainly people under 50
who's immune systems have not performed their normal functions.

Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) has never been proven to cause any of the diseases related to AIDS cases.

HIV is a retro-virus, which means it is only present when the immune system is fighting an infection. HIV will always mutate as it is the by product of a working immune system and will vary from infection to infection.

There are millions of people who have tested positive for HIV who never developed AIDS (Magic Johnson)

There are thousands of people with AIDS who did not test positive for HIV.

Most of the AIDS patients actually die from their medication.(AZT)

Sadly, the majority of HIV/AIDS research programs are just cash cows!

Lets worry about something else today !

All of which are anaerobic organisms that are killed when oxygenated. I know it's hard to believe becasue of what we've been taught and also all of the scammers out there. I wouldn't put something up here that I didn't have first hand knowledge of or experience with. I've used Dr. Szulc here in NYC for about 3 years now and have recommended him to a friend with herpes. Guess what? She no longer has it. Another friend w/an (albeit) benign tumor on his kidney...gone. If it's snake oil, fcuk it! Sign me up in spades! There's a long history of it's use, efficacy and safety and science is finally starting to scratch the surface of the use of different light spectrums to treat and cure many diseases. Take this how you will but I'm trying to help so don't insult me or my intelligence for that. I'm sure some of the other dumb sh!t I've said can be used for that.

The motto of this site says:

Learn Teach Lead

Not smoke crack, rub snake oil on yourself, and ignore science.

I'd bet $100 you didn't read the article and if you did you dind't understand a word of it. Otherwise there's no way you'd be saying what you're saying. But that's ok, go take your sunlight treatments and stay away from anything that comes out of REAL molecular biology research. We'll see who lives longer.

My initial impression was that this was supposed to be a website that preaches real knowledge and real science. Not the same tired witchdoctor crap found on standard supplement sites.

Read the damn article, and don't come back to this thread and comment until you do. FFS

And this isn't just a cure for HIV. The technique used can be used to develop enzyme capable of eliminating ANY virus' DNA from infected cells. Pick a virus and they can develop an enyzme for it with this method. And again, yes viruses mutate but they always have the same endpoints. WHen a virus mutates such that its endpoints change, it no longer functions. It's ability to infect is based entirely on its insertion ability.

Calm down, big guy. Nobody's refuting the article you posted. Why are you getting your panties all bunched up over this? It's NOT even available yet. And guess what? Despite you being an @ss to me regarding my posts, I STILL hope you live a long, happy disease-free life. Oh and that witch-doctor crap that I posted IS available, IS FDA APPROVED, IS BEING STUDIED BY UNIVERSITIES and DOES have a long, proven, successful history. Now if you'll excuse me, I have some chickens to slaughter and entrails to necromance.

Fair enough. I was turned off by the look of that website and the tone fo the article. It was worded and written much the same as many quack sites and articles are.

So I looked into it, and found very mixed results. Currently it is considered a highly experimental and dangerous treatment. There have been a number of deaths following this treatment, however direct links haven't necessarily been conclusive. Many doctors seem to be of the opinion that Photoluminescence Therapy kills your own body's cells as well as those of any infections. Ironically there have been multiple cases of patients contracting deadly infections (which killed them) while undergoing this threapy.

For example, this from an AIDS specialist:

Sorry -- not much to say except DON'T DO IT. Unproven, experimental,
and highly suspect "treatments" of this type are everywhere, and
should only be undertaken in a well-controlled clinical trial setting.
Of course, ultraviolet radiation in high doses will kill HIV, but they
might do the same to you. Anyone offering this kind of treatment for
pay should be viewed with suspicion. RAS

Rick Stryker, M.D., M.P.H."

Ultraviolet blood irradiation is on there which is another name for the treatment you mentioned.

So, I'm done here as I was not really trying to sell you on anything. To tell you the truth, I don't even really care. Do you. I'll be busy doin' me.

[Ultraviolet irradiation of the blood][Article in Russian]

Petukhov VA, Perekokin NN, Gorelenko AG, Koloda AS.

An analysis of the experience with using the method of ultraviolet irradiation of blood in 85 patients with different surgical diseases has shown the method to be simple, available and highly clinically effective.

[Complications in ultraviolet irradiation of the blood][Article in Russian]

Marochkov AV, Doronin VA, Kravtsov NN.

2380 sessions of ultraviolet blood irradiation have been analysed. A DRB-8 lamp was used as a source of irradiation. The complications observed were divided into 2 groups. Group 1 comprised complications associated with the technical performance of the manipulation, their rate being 1.3%. Group II comprised complications developed in ultraviolet blood irradiation. The complications observed in group II were as follows: rigor in 4 cases, hypotension in 2 cases, nasal bleeding in 3 cases, hypoglycemia in 1 patient, bronchospasm in 1 patient and urticaria in 1 patient. To prevent the onset of complications medical care and the oral intake of carbohydrates are recommended for 1.5-2 h after the session. Intramuscular injections are to be avoided for 1.5 h for fear of the appearance of hematomas.

I'm just saying YOU might also want to do some more research into that treatment as well. Mind the potential side effects and especially mind the physicians who are doing the procedures.

I like how I bring an article about a revolutionary medical breakthrough and people come in here and crap all over it with naturopathy.

Newsflash: if naturopathy actually cured cancer, HIV, the common cold, etc. MORE PEOPLE WOULD USE IT. More importantly, real doctors and real non-profit hospitals who are, believe it or not, altruistic at heart, would use it.

In any case, this thread isn't about naturopathy. It isn't about UV light treatment. It isn't even about what does or doesn't treat HIV currently. It's about the discovery of a brand new technique in molecular biology used to custom engineer enzymes that can be made to target and remove any viral infection we want from an infected cell's DNA. That is what this thread is about.
