DA says he'll fight hard against steroid abuse

District Attorney David Soares releases a statement regarding the suspected steroids-related death of 28-year-old Peter Kennedy yesterday morning.
Last week our Steve Ference spoke with Kennedy's mother, Barbara, who warned all young people about the dangers of steroids.
She told us some steroid-like bottles were found after Peter's liver and kidneys failed. David Soares say he'll work to see that no family ever has to suffer this tragedy.
In his statement he says:
"Today we mourn the loss of a hard-working and loved 28-year-old young man who led a full and productive life..." "I vow to every parent in Albany County, and across the country, that the Office of the Albany County District Attorney will do everything in its power to ensure steroids do not devastate the lives of another family."
All of this comes as Soares continues to lead a multi-state investigation of steroid sales, which has been criticized by some for not having enough of a local impact.
