QUOTE: "True that. You never hear about them saying anything is harmful in MuscleTech products and I know they have more advertising than any supp out there. Now why is that?"
Achilles, my friend, you may have just stumbled upon something that's never even occurred to me. What if the supplement industry is just as corrupt as mainstream medicine? I mean, in my opinion, there is no way that "big pharma" gets some of their drugs approved for release without paying off someone, somewhere. I don't know if it's the FDA being in bed with the AMA (again, I am not giving facts, just stating my suspicions), the companies themselves slipping money to the FDA to look the other way, or what.
What if Muscletech is so wealthy that they can afford to keep controversy about their products quiet? Or what if they are being controlled/assisted by one of the "big pharma" companies behind the scenes? Folks, we may laugh at their ads, but they have got to be making lots of dough from someone, how else could they afford multiple-page, full-color ads, in several different mags every month? Not to mention the occasional Hydroxycut TV commercial.
But...sometimes the bigger they are, the harder they fall. How many of you remember when Weider and Cybergenics were HUGE? When I was first into BB I was seeing the end of the era of those companies, but still their stuff was everywhere. What about EAS? I think their glory days are over, but go back 7 years or so and they were pushing their overpriced (in my opinion) stuff down everyone's throats with marketing. I don't see half as much consumer interest in EAS products anymore.
OK I'll stop before I write a book...y'all get my point, I'm sure...
