Cortisol now thought to be reason for stress not vice versa.

That would make a lot of sense seeing as how LXT always gave me a moderate euphoric feeling. If stress caused cortisol and not the other way around, then that effect wouldn't occur. i.e. reducing cortisol wouldn't reduce stress, only some of the negative effects of stress.

Instead, I've found that reduced cortisol levels lowers my stress considerably.

I completely agree, as LX also makes me feel a little more careless with school. Or I shouldn't use careless, but I am able to stress less about things such as bad test scores and stuff. I can also attest to this because I have naturally high cortisol levels anyways and I have been through depression etc.

Holy crap!!! This makes so much sense! Since I started retain I have been cool calm and confident, life doesn't stress me and because of that everything has been better. Honestly I was trying to figure out what caused this and I really think this was it! Is there anyway someone could use cortisol blockers fulltime or rearly fulltime because it's gonna be hard to stop feeling like this.
