UGH, my father held my mother at knife point when i was 10, luckily my older brother got the knife away from him, and kicked his ass, giving my mom and i time to get out of the house. It was the last time i ever saw that lame excuse for a father, and i cant say im unhappy about it. Having my own 9 month old son now, i look forward to being the father i never had.

Amen bro. My brother (18) has been on Lithium since he was 10 or 11, along with a slew of other medications. We tried to take him off the lithium one time and he ended up threatening the lives of my father and myself. It's just sad...

The scary part about the whole thing is people who are in a condition to do this kind of thing are very well adept at hiding it from others. You allways hear the same thing about being such a nice person or things like that. To me thats worrying.

You're a good man. Hearing you say you are looking forward to being a good father reminds me that the world is full of good human beings too. Sempre Fi
