Article: High Protein Diet Curbs Appetite.

i disagree.....and i'm not gonna give a cheap excuse that would come from cutting and doing about 325g protein, 150g low gi carbs, 100g fat. this is just plain and simple about the high protein reducing appetite. i notice once i start on dinner or something, i start chowin on steak or chicken breast, i get done with one and the 2nd is a BREEZE, i feel like i could eat protein all night, doesn't phase me. once i start eatin the oats, potatoes, rice, veggies, they start filling me up, and yeah, i've tried it both ways, eating carbs first being the other way, also at the same time. i eat protein first 90% of the time, cuz it doesn't affect my appetite AT ALL. just my .02.

You are talking about WHEN you eat your protein. The article is talking about eating a high protein diet.

For me it is easier to get in the 5500 cals I need to bulk when I dropped my protein intake from 450 - 500g a day to 300g a day. Then again it could be I just like animal crackers more than I like chicken. :)

if i needed to increase cals, not saying that i would do what i'm gonna say(it would depend what my figures looked like already)but i'd much rather increase my protein than carbs. i'd up the protein/fat if it were up to me.

Protein is tough for me to eat. i believe it...

I love a good steak, but aside from that, its pulling teeth when I eat :(
