So over the years, I have used many energy supplements from our complex
pre-workouts designed around working via several angles to our basics of red
bull, 5 hour energy, etc. The design of this product makes it appear in the
same class of 5 hour energy, but the ingredient profile clearly paints a
different picture and places it at the top with the best of the best of our
most complex after-market products so to say.
DESIGN- The bottle is very flashy looking, the black glossy color stands out,
but with the addition of red/orange, the boldness of the product really
shines. IMO, this will do great on a store shelf where presentation is what
makes more than half of the product sales.
TASTE- Not bad at all, like an orange, very management and tolerable. Very hard to pinpoint
what the exact flavors though.
COMPARED TO THE PILL- I didn't really notice any difference, I've used the
pills several times with great results and this did the same.
EFFECTIVENESS- Just like the pill, extremely effective for that long
sustained energy rush. No jitters and no rush. For me, it lasts a good 8
hours, and can still be felt for up to 12 hours. I typically notice it kick
in, in about 15-20 minutes. When I took this, I wanted to wake up at 8:30am.
I set my alarm for 8am and when I woke at 8am, I chugged this quick, reset my
alarm for 8:30, went back to sleep. 8:19 I was wide awake, looking around my
room and just popped up early. Typically when I snooze, I am OUT and just keep
bumping back my alarm if I don't have anything specific to wake up for. This
worked awesome for making me get out of bed ahead of schedule. I didn't feel
overwhelmed with energy though, which is a good thing as I don't want to be
bouncing off the walls as I step out of bed!
Overall, this is a very good product, and would def buy it. I don't think its
a product one would buy every day to use, but its awesome for the times you
need something quick and unexpected. I typically use the BSN Endorush since
my gym sells them for cheap, I like to keep one in my gym bag, work bag, car,
and at my girls house in case an emergency calls! These are much smaller and
will fit much more nicely in my bags. I would reccommend these to anyone
looking for that quick energy rush, minus the jitters and crash!
Neogenix as a whole IMO is a one of the best supplements on the market. Look
at the reviews for their products like supremecy. Not a single bad review
anywhere to be found, at least I have not seen one. For a company that
doesn't pour all there money into advertising and marketing, they sure spend
it on product research and it shows. BodyForge and Cryoshock are highly
looked upon by many on constantly suggested on the various boards. Neogenix
has some of the best product packing for presentation and makes very complete
products that are always worth the try.
