I'm 53 years old & been weight training for 3 months I've changed my diet to a sensible one I train 6 times per week I've lost one stone ( was 18 stone & fat ) & gained muscle on legs arms shoulders & chest, any tips on a routine..? To build muscle..I've just changed my old routine to a new one. Monday/Wednesday,Chest 3 sets of 10 bench press 3 sets of 10 incline with dumbells 3 sets of 10 bench press ( on multi gym ) 3 sets of 10 butterfly press on multi gym, Abdominals 3 sets of 20,Tuesday/Thursday,Biceps..3 sets of 10 EZ Bar..3 sets of 10 with dumbbell on preacher 3 sets of 10 on total gym 1000, Leg curl on multi gym 3 sets of 15,Friday/Sunday,Back & Shoulders, 3 sets of 20 seated row 3 sets of 10 dumbell shoulder press 3 sets of 10 lat pull downs 3 sets of 10 shoulder press on total gym 1000 at incline level 8. 3 sets of 20 abdominals..I train alone in my attic & take 45 seconds rest in between sets.....any tips please.... :-)
