Hey guys haven't been on here in a while been studying for my personal training cert n still haven't figured out how to fix my own imbalances. My muscles all grow outa wack.

Let me first star of by saying my right shoulder hangs lower than right. I think this is caused as a result if one leg being longer. any ways my left pec is larger; left bi n tri larger; better rear delt devolpment on left side. My right lat is stronger than left. My neck I feel has to much of a forward angle. My right rear delt has a forward roll n limited mobility.

    I'm right handed BTW.

So any thoughts would be great I may end up going to a chiropractors or physical therapist but I wanna just kno what's wrong n how to fix it??

Curious as well. Seems like I can never fully flex my left side so those muscles always look much smaller. I can lift the same amount for the same reps with both sides tho...

I'm likely in the same boat, went to school and now trying to fix myself with what I have learned.
My right shoulder is smaller, right arm smaller, right arm is longer too, I broke it about 20 years ago, just now realized its longe. Seems also I am having a lot of biceps/shoulder tendonitis in right shoulder as well , I believe I have had it for years as the shape of my right is not as developed as my left, and always felt something on and off for years, but recently it is keeping me from doing shouders and chest.
No side seems weaker or stronger, but my right lat is much bigger than left, which I have noticed for a few years, I thought a few extra sets on left would help, but I am starting to think now that if my shouler has always had a prob and has been tighter than my left, I actually think my right lat has just been assisting and taking the brunt of the work on the right and and I just couldn't notice , if that makes any sense, I am right handed also , my left side looks great except the smaller lat, right one seems wider and lower.

I had the same issues....... What really helped me was to stay away from heavy BB movements and to stick with lots of db and unilateral movements.

I was prone to this when I was younger.I was able to bring my body back into balance by avoiding dumbbells and doing full body workouts.

Yeah kinda what I have been doing , especially since I have been limited to at home apartment workouts, although do use dumbells , unilaterally mostly, for chest floor press if my shoulder feels good , mostly do a lot of pullups, bent over rows , with an ez curl bar, and band pull aparts and face pulls , and some dumbell shrugs, dumbell deadlifts I throw in some days too

Unilateral movements are the only way to go for me,also.I am so extremely right hand dominant due to a broken wrist I suffered on my left arm that it is very easy for me to over train the right side of my body. Also agree with a poster above,if one does implement a lot of dumbbell movements, keep the weights light enough so one is able to isolate muscle contractions equally on both sides.

Yea I have been really lightening up my lifts n really trying to make sure both sides are using the target muscles n slowing down my pace just a little. Its a shame though Cuz I find heavy n explosive is the way to go for mass :/ ...

Yea I broke my arm right in the elbow socket and its gotten worse since then. It really limits my ability to be as explosive as i like i just have to focus on form and concentrate on weak side.
