Randleman has just signed to fight for WVR. Looks like a somewhat promising org. The event scheduled for Mar 5 looks like this so far:

Kazuo Misaki vs Siyar Bahadurzada
Hidehiko Yoshida vs Josh Barnett
Makoto Takimoto vs Cyborg
Phil Baroni vs Sanae Kikuta(?? Baroni slated to fight Hose on Mar. 15)

Gomi vs TBA
Fabricio Monteiro vs TBA

In typical Pride fashion, the final 4-5 fights won't be announced until late February. Hopefully Randleman will fight on this upcoming card.

I think Baroni is off this card according to what I read. Yoshida will be a nice warmup for Barnett after a long break, then bring on Fedor.

Cool, if I had my choice I'd much rather watch Baroni/Hose than Baroni/Kakuta. Kakuta's fights are almost always boring. Yeah, Yoshida will give Barnett a decent fight, unless he fights like he did against The Colossus. Can't wait for next weekend, Thompson, Bigfoot/Ricco, Kimbo/Tank, etc. Fedor's gonna make Barnett look like the elephant man again if they fight. Barnett was funny as hell in his interview after the open weight GP.

I'm pretty sure they are, Mouth. Gomi will fight Duane "more like a firecrackah" Ludwig.

More than 20k a fight.

I'll know opponent info probably tomorrow.

His next fight in BoDog would have been Dan Hornbuckle.

Nice. Thompson is a tough opponent for pretty much anyone. I'm guessing this will be at 183?

Right on. Didn't realize they had a WW division. He's a big WW and I figured he would have hella trouble making 160(thinking along the lines of Prides old weight classes), 167 is still pretty light for him. What is he, 6'.5", and pretty broad, walk around weight 190ish?

When I used to hang with him he was like 6'2-3 and walked at 195. His cut to 70 is easy as ****. 2.5 more lbs will be fine.

Nick Thompson will face Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu fighter Fabricio Monteiro on March 5.

Damn, didn't realize he was quite that tall. I'm getting pumped for Dream, had no idea all these GP's were on the horizon.

Since K-1 and DSE's old people merged... they have a **** TON of cash. M-1, WVR and Dream = Open contracts.

UFC is in for some dark times.

Rumor has it that WVR's rules are Pride rules + elbows?
