I have been reading in several sources, both Russian and American sources, that the Fedor deal is very close to being finalized. He will receive $2 million per fight for 4 fights and also be allowed to fight in Russia in some capacity.
 
I pray that it gets finalized. I can't wait to watch Fedor shut people up, again. I wonder if he'll fight for the title right away. I'd love to see him fight Couture for the belt in early 08.
 
The UFC needs to give in and let Fedor do Sambo once a year and take on a few Red Devil guys. Fedor's manager needs tp drop the attempts to run a Russian event.

Can Aleksander fight in the US or will his prison term keep him out of the country?
 
from what Dana has said Fedor and Randy would headline the Super Bowl weekend card if the deal gets done. I love Randy, but that would be brutal

Aleks probably can't get a visa into the US, unfortunately. He will probably end up in BoDog or K-1.
