Supps for MMA

Figured I could post this here. What are some good supps to take while training for MMA. I want to keep every bit of lean mass I have, but it will be hard with all the cardio. Right now I have my diet in check with Omegas and Multivitamin. 6ft. 230lbs. Beginner and never trained for MMA before. Your input is greatly appreciated. I start in 2 weeks.

I hate to say it, but you will likely lose some LBM. However, you can minimize it with: BCAA's, WMS, beta alanine, and cissus.

I will also say that your diet ATM will need to be changed once you start training. MMA is an endurance sport, so you will need to increase your kcals, specifically carbs.

thanks man. I figured I would lose some anyway. Would something like old school HMB help to retain more? As much cardio as we will be doing, its gonna rape my mmass. So what kind of weight training can go hand in hand with MMA? Sorry for so many questions, but I'm all jacked up about it and haven't started yet.

Give your body a chance to adjust to the new training before you add any additional weight training.

Don't know if this what you are going to do, but almost all of the of the weightlifting oriented guys who get into an intensive kick boxing regimes are worn out initially by the stamina requirements and new stresses on the joints/connectors.

Take my word for it, if it's a good school they are going to wear your butt out at the beginning, but it's a good pain to do max intensity cals, plyos and bag and mitt work ,huffing and puffing and sweating buckets.

I don't much about the requirements of Jits.

Rodja knows his supps. WMS, Whey,Creatine and Cissus are the essentials for Wilford the War Machine McManchowder.

I talked with the guy today, and of course for the 1st month it will be hell. But it will become more fun once I get adjusted. So the above supps it is. I might have to take something like BH to help me keep an appetite. Training with that much cardio, etc. causes severe loss of it.
