    UFC 74 card

    Couture vs Gonzaga
    GSP vs Koscheck
    Joe Daddy vs Kurt Pellegrino
    Kendall Grove vs Pat Cote
    Babalu vs David Heath
    Frank Mir vs Antoni Hardonk
    Huerta vs Alberto Crane
    Marcus Aurelio vs Clay Guida

Pretty damn good looking card right now. I hope Aurelio/Guida makes it on the main card. Alberto Crane is decent, but I would like to see Huerta fight someone good. Aoki/Huerta would be nice, well, for Aoki at least.

Should be a solid card. Too bad it's so far away still.

Yeah, plenty of time for Alex to pimp sell us on his boy Mir.

^lol. given anybody who has seen his recent performances, it will be a tuff sell.

Franlky, besides being the jj guy comming into the sport that still was getting farmilar with subs, and subing/dq wins over meatballs, getting tko/beaten up badly by a purly submission guy (cruz), he hasnt shown me ****. I did enjoy him breaking TS's arm, though.

Granted he is comming back from very large injury, life threating at that, i just dont think he will be able to hang these days. He will have to finally be 100% and greatly improve his striking (showed a tad in christian fight) to just get by in the HW division these days.

Im sure this will recieve a sharp responce from Alex. I havent seen any debates here on Mir, yet.

Anyways, back to the card. It looks really good, allot of good fights and important for both sides and including a nice newcomer.

Sucks that it is so long. I think we have been spoilded by these 2-3 events in 1-1.5 months lately.

Wtf is cote still doing in the UFC? seriously...

You will receive a firm pat on the back, for having a good analysis of Mir. Rogue and Jas are kidding, they know how overrated I think Mir is. I've scolded many a Mir fan. Even before the injury he was nothing special. He has the one win against Sylvia, and that's really it. He got beat down by Ian Freeman(b level 205er),KO'd by Vera, beaten down by Pe de Pano, and a close fight with Dan Christiansen. How could anyone have so much hope for this guy. He'll probably get KO'd by Hardonk, but Hardonk's TD defense blows, so maybe Mir can actually pick up a victory.

I just hope that Auggie guy isn't a Mir fan, or else I might get taught a lesson.

that would be a good match up, however sin would have to cut to 185 and that would effect his King "Australian performance".

I know there must be "opponent" type fighters out there, but then there are these bums that clearly arent on the same level as 95% of the ufc/pride/bodog, etc organizations.

Its not even like they are exciting fighters and lose close/split decisions (like guida, etc)...anyways...i degress.

...Guida should have won his last fight IMO.

I hope GSP crushes Kos. He definitely won't be able to fight the style in which he faught Diego. There's no way St. Pierre is going to just ***** foot around the ring ala Sanchez/Koscheck.

Anybody seen Albert Crowe before? His record gives the appearance of a one dimensional grappler/jj guy: 8-0, 7 by sub one by split dec.

Alberto Crane. And yes I've seen a few of his fights, and I think you have it right, one dimensional jj guy. Who knows what he's done over the last couple of years though.

    No, no...Albert Crane!

Damn, I butchered that one! Must have still been half asleep
Edit: Just watched a couple of his fights from KOTC. Looked like he might have some GNP skills, but it's hard to say b/c his competition wasn't that great.

I agree here...Gudia deserves to be in the UFC just based his exciting fights against top competition, even though he is 1-2.

I read an interview with Guida where he said Joe Silva and Dana said Guida got hosed, and if he loses 10 times in a row while fighting like that he'll still be invited back. I don't think we have to worry about him going anywhere soon.

Unfortunately, Randy isn't known for beating guys quickly, and Kos isn't much better. Both have a high potential to go to decision, unless they lose.

I hope GSP defeats Kos quickly.

Gouda? Is that like a stringy longhaired Edam? Cheesy Misstep in the Stxnas style?

Just mildly Fing with y'all, your minor language faults are trivial Misdemeanors in relation to the Felony abuse that's been here of late. Yeah, You - Auggie.

Clay Guida has great wrestling skills, a never quit attitude and fantastic stamina, he's always welcome in any show I view. Needs to improve his mobile striking skills, though, he's vulnerable to someone who can hit dance and prance away and offset his grabs and shoots with upper body strength and a good sprawl.

I think plenty of people thought Kos would beat Diego. It was close to 50/50 round hurr. I don't think that victory proved a whole hell of a lot either. You're right though, Kos is very good, but I can't stand him, and hope Georgey boy pounds him.

That fight flat out sucked and neither fighter proved anything IMO. I'd rather see GSP win, but if he loses I'm sure it won't be anything like the fight in question...and in my defense Rogue...bah...I got nothin' so take this

It will be a dark cold day in hell when you can kick me in the nuts and get away with Stxnas, old buddy. I'll be clenching deep hard and building malice for a few minutes, then It's my turn, run for your immediate life, then my turn, range free shuck and scurry, I'll drop you and then you'll die in agony.

Above is rifle shot and knife kill, dare you to ever play serious bad in front of my inclose fists and/or the heavy hard full body force with my end it now intent.

Who knows where/how rep points come from? - I've given seriously real insight on the use of supplements with a judicious disregard for the sponsor's hype without any credit acknowledged, and yet I get points for being flippantly humorous elsewhere, the right turn at the right time by other's measure.

Good Lord, where do I come up with ****?

Simple straight forward answer - I don't do humility, I am an All Pro Proved faster, smarter, harder, meaner version of once I was, hard legs is now discerning brains, an improved intellect to accompany an always able body, was and is hardcore and keenly adept.

You know who I was/am, how many were ever at my level? very very few, me the most dangerous - Now with a young man's retained physicality and an older man's experience and judicious application.

Beware and Be aware - Men like like me are pursuing opportunities to readjust the status Quo of Reps and Dems, men like I are about to put shock trigger time on a complacent populace's leaders and readjust their perspective.

...so, how about that Couture/Gonzaga matchup?

If reps points where given on most often quoted, I would be at a million plus.

You f*ckers repped each other for that. After all the humiliating stuff I said in that thread, and you didn't hook me up? F*ck that. I'm gonna rep Rogue for not 'doing' humility. And you're right, reps mean nothing. For the most part it's the losers with nothing different or interesting to say that have the most rep points.

Hot chicks + fighting = cool (although, hurt a little by being on Oxygen)

My Super Sweet Sixteen abbreviated as MSS = not so much. But I did hook you up for keeping Agustine in line in a thread.

Have we ever kept a thread on topic for a whole page...lol.

Yeah, I have the same problem. I guess I don't give out much reps elsewhere because I'm almost always completely repped out on you guys. Stxnas, you repped me once, and I was trying to get you back for the longest time.

First of all you left out an S in the abbreviation. How dare you? Wait til I start a thread about the Feldman/Haim reality show that is starting next weekend. If you think that semi-hot chicks fighting show can touch the Corey's you're in for a rude awakening. Also, a new season of Sunny in Philadelphia starts in a few weeks, that should be good.
