Pretty damn good looking card right now. I hope Aurelio/Guida makes it on the main card. Alberto Crane is decent, but I would like to see Huerta fight someone good. Aoki/Huerta would be nice, well, for Aoki at least.

^lol. given anybody who has seen his recent performances, it will be a tuff sell.

Franlky, besides being the jj guy comming into the sport that still was getting farmilar with subs, and subing/dq wins over meatballs, getting tko/beaten up badly by a purly submission guy (cruz), he hasnt shown me ****. I did enjoy him breaking TS's arm, though.

Granted he is comming back from very large injury, life threating at that, i just dont think he will be able to hang these days. He will have to finally be 100% and greatly improve his striking (showed a tad in christian fight) to just get by in the HW division these days.

Im sure this will recieve a sharp responce from Alex. I havent seen any debates here on Mir, yet.

Anyways, back to the card. It looks really good, allot of good fights and important for both sides and including a nice newcomer.

Sucks that it is so long. I think we have been spoilded by these 2-3 events in 1-1.5 months lately.

Wtf is cote still doing in the UFC? seriously...

You will receive a firm pat on the back, for having a good analysis of Mir. Rogue and Jas are kidding, they know how overrated I think Mir is. I've scolded many a Mir fan. Even before the injury he was nothing special. He has the one win against Sylvia, and that's really it. He got beat down by Ian Freeman(b level 205er),KO'd by Vera, beaten down by Pe de Pano, and a close fight with Dan Christiansen. How could anyone have so much hope for this guy. He'll probably get KO'd by Hardonk, but Hardonk's TD defense blows, so maybe Mir can actually pick up a victory.

I just hope that Auggie guy isn't a Mir fan, or else I might get taught a lesson.

that would be a good match up, however sin would have to cut to 185 and that would effect his King "Australian performance".

I know there must be "opponent" type fighters out there, but then there are these bums that clearly arent on the same level as 95% of the ufc/pride/bodog, etc organizations.

Its not even like they are exciting fighters and lose close/split decisions (like guida, etc)...anyways...i degress.

I hope GSP crushes Kos. He definitely won't be able to fight the style in which he faught Diego. There's no way St. Pierre is going to just pussy foot around the ring ala Sanchez/Koscheck.

Anybody seen Albert Crowe before? His record gives the appearance of a one dimensional grappler/jj guy: 8-0, 7 by sub one by split dec.

Alberto Crane. And yes I've seen a few of his fights, and I think you have it right, one dimensional jj guy. Who knows what he's done over the last couple of years though.

Edit: Just watched a couple of his fights from KOTC. Looked like he might have some GNP skills, but it's hard to say b/c his competition wasn't that great.

I agree here...Gudia deserves to be in the UFC just based his exciting fights against top competition, even though he is 1-2.

I read an interview with Guida where he said Joe Silva and Dana said Guida got hosed, and if he loses 10 times in a row while fighting like that he'll still be invited back. I don't think we have to worry about him going anywhere soon.

after seeing gouda in that fight it made him one of my favorite fighters... i hope Kos and randy finish off their prey quickly so there is a chance to see his fight
