South Florida MMA - Anyone interested in training?

There's a new school that just opened in Wellington where you can be trained by Randy Couture and Wanderlei Silva.. If not with them, then with certified instructors in MMA, Brazilian Jui Jitsu, Muai Thai, Wrestling, Boxing, Kick Boxing, Elite Strength and Conditioning, etcetera...

7500+ square feet facility with fenced in grappling area, circle cage, boxing ring...

Anyone interested?
 
I am ... only thing is I live in central Mass.... long commute. Maybe we could carpull. You drive the first year and we'll take it from there. deal?
 
Sure, no problem! Damn.. No Palm Beachers interested, huh? Wanderlei Silva will be training at this facility for a week or two starting next week. Right afterwards, he'll be heading to Las Vegas to fight Chuck Liddell - unless I heard wrong...
 
LOL, all my college buds from Wellington and WPB were partiers, not fighters!

The Liddell/Sylva speculation has been going on for years. Don't hold your breath bro!

Anyway, are you going to be training in MMA? You're big dude, right?
 
If you're talking to me - yes, I'll be doing MMA. But - as ridiculous as it may sound, I may stay away from BJJ for awhile. I've had so many bad experiences in the past (injury-wise). I'll be starting with boxing and muay thai kickboxing. From there, I'll see how I feel about the ground stuff.

I'm not looking to be a well-rounded fighter. I'm just looking to get back into shape doing something I like. I'm a midget at 5ft 7in but I've been 270 at times. I never checked my bodyfat but I've never been big and cut at the same time. I've always been a bit lumberjacked. :p hehe

Anyhow. I'm doing to 240 right now and I could probably get down to 180 cut... So I'm bit for now, but small later. :D
 
I doubt you will get any training time with Couture. A private lesson with Couture costs $1000/hr.
However, I am sure it will be fun.

Also in that region is Hermes Franca's school(The Armory) in Jupiter, Florida. Kurt Pellegrino and Franca both teach there.
 
Private sessions with Couture are $500.00 an hour. Still expensive - but worth it if you're really looking to get somewhere in the sport.. Some of the students at this school are very, very serious...

I'll have to check out that school in Jupiter. I may be moving there next year...

Well the cost must be different there. According to the this link, Invalid Link Removed. Still either way it is expensive.

i go to amercian freedom fighters in port st.lucie right now I might give it a shot. Ohh its in jupiter that much better i thought it was in wellington it looks pretty good i might give it a try.
 
Why not go to ATT? I know that they several locations and are one of the top 3 camps in the US.

I used to fight down here in Coconut Creek with American Top Team...

Did't know there was was couture center in Wellington!!!! THATS FREAKIN CRAZY!!!
