B.J. pisses me off. I love to watch him fight, but he gasses like no other. If he were to have a full gas tank he would be unstoppable. I must say, Rashad is a lot better then I gave him credit for. Watching Jens lose sucked, but his post-fight interview was great. Decent event overall. I hate to harp on this, but anyone who thinks UFC is better then PRIDE is out of there mind. Compare Final Conflict to UFC 63, I'd say a 9 and a 5 respectively.

OMG I was so pissed at the first round.

Chuck Liddell pokes Ortiz in the eye, fight continues and Chuck wins against semi blind opponent. Liddell pokes Couture in the eye, fight continues, Chuck wins. Hughes gets a poke in the eye and cries mommy and gets clock stopped to recover.

Be nice to see some consistency from the referees.

Yep, he shoulda gone to Big Bear with Ortiz instead of hanging loose in Hawaii. He would have been holding the belt now.

Oh my freakin' God BJ, you had that **** in the bag and you blew it.

BJ is a better fighter than Matt Hughes. He proved that again tonight. Matt Hughes is a better ATHLETE, though, and simply outlasted BJ down the stretch. If BJ had actually prepared for this fight, he would have taken it. No doubt.

It's sad to see BJ waste his talent like that and rack up losses.

I'm very surprised and disappointed in Loiseau. It just seemed like he didn't want to do anything but just stand there.

Jens. Man, he is really, really rusty. I was also very disappointed with his loss.

And what in God's name did GSP say to Matt after the fight that caused so much controversy???? I missed it somehow!!

Let's not neglect: Joe Lauzon: the guy who is fighting Lil' Evil
I was at a local MMA event tonight, and they had UFC 63 on the big screen. Lauzon is a local guy, and he had a lot of friends in the room of probably about 1000 people. They stopped the event to watch his fight, and the place absolutely exploded. Jens may have been rusty, but Lauzon defintely belongs in the UFC. He is a grappler, who knocked Pulver out.

The Swick fight was disappointing. The Crow finally turned it on in Rd. 3, but the fight was lackluster from both. There is such a thing as respecting your opponent too much.

BJ needs to reevaluate and decide what he is going to do. I don't doubt that he may be the #1 fighter in the world at 170, but if he is going to be a pro, he needs to prep like one. I was shocked to see Hughes get owned like that for 2 rounds. I didn't notice the GSP/Hughes controversy, but maybe Georges told Matt the truth--that BJ was the better technician who was badly prepared.

The local event was awesome. 2 of the 3 fighters from my school won. The loss was a controversial ref stoppage. The guy landed an upkick a second before the ref determined he could not defend himself
One of the wins was a belt match. Many celebratory libations were in order

GSP said that he was not impressed by Hughes' performance and looked forward to fighting him next.

I don't know. This was the first live event I've seen, and the talent is very strong here. I would need to train a lot more. It is a challenge, and I love challenges, but it may not be the right one for me. My buddy who came to the fight with me said, based on my personality, that he has no doubt I'm going to fight, but I'm not so sure.

I think it would be extremely frowned upon at my school. I couldn't fight during the school year b/c I can't come in with a banged up face. If I did it in the summer and my school found out, I'd probably be in trouble. Doesn't seem worth it, but I wouldn't rule out the possibility.

I've been biding my time.. but....

I propose a cage match with Beowulf.. the cage to be filled with young deer and thumbtacks... both of us shall be donned in Burlap and we shall be heavily dosed on Cialis.

Is there a way to unregister from this site I have never felt such a profound sense of fear as I do right now

You're one of a kind Ubi. Special! Don't let anyone tell you differently!

I agree, but it never would have happened if B.J. didn't gas so badly. I am still in disbelief.
