Main Card Bouts:
-Karo Parisyan vs. Diego Sanchez
-Dean Lister vs. Yuki Sasaki
-Josh Koscheck vs. Jonathan Goulet
-Chris Leben vs. Jorge Santiago

Suddenly realized this card was about to happen so I checked the lines. I was shocked to see one, Josh Koscheck -340 vs. Jonathan Goulet +270.
Am I the only one who thinks Goulet is a very good fighter?

Absoulutely.

I think Josh is screwed if he can't bring Goulet to the mat.

Very interested in the Parisyan/Sanchez card. I'm pullin for Karo.... man can that guy take a beating. :frustrate

Lister is the ****!

Karo has some definite skills, but Diego just goes to another place when he fights...he's a very odd guy:fool2: These two on the ground could be interesting.

I don't think it'll take too long before Lister is well known amongst more than just the MMA junkies...Lucky for you to be able to get that type of exposure. Soak it all up while you can bro.

Thought Diego v Karo was great, but I don't understand the 30-26 call by the one judge. Karo had that fight until those final few minutes.

Saw TUF 4. It's great to see Serra back.

Unfortunately, I don't think that fight is gonna win Lister any fans. As predicted, he cut too much weight and gassed hard. I hate to watch a guy who trains that hard gas b/c of cutting weight.

Everyone seems to hate him, but at some point people have to admit that Diego is very, very talented. That was a great fight.

I recorded the midnight re-run, but I have yet to watch it. I think Lister will climb the ladder and in doing so he will make a name for himself. He just needs to get one or two good style match-ups and he'll be able to showcase his talents. I could be wrong, but we'll see. I might be biased too b/c I like him as a fighter.

I did not see it but I read that Goulet got beat badly. I guess Koscheck has improved his standup skills and the house was right.

Lister is an amazing grappler. I really do hope to see him continue to rise as a fighter.

Don't get me wrong, I think Lister is great, and he demonstrated great skills; the issue was lethargy. He was draggin ass big time by round 3, and even in round 2 he didn't seem to have the strength to finish any of the great subs he applied. Maybe he belongs at 205, or maybe he just needs to bring his wet weight closer to his fighting weight.

Kos looked great. He landed a big right on Goulet in the standup and finished the fight like the Hughes/Gracie fight ended. Then he took the opportunity to make an a$$ out of himself and tell the people on the internet calling him a LNP artist to f--- off.

I thought that Lister/Sasaki was pretty interesting until the 3rd round when Dean and to lesser extent Sasaki gassed. There were some solid sub attempts from Dean and great escapes from Sasaki.

Leben had a nice KO, but I was expecting to see some improvement in his standup from a technical standpoint. He still leaves himself open and ate numerous jabs trying to outchin the other guy. This isn't going to work against Franklin, A. Silva (as we saw), Louisou (sp?), maybe Swick....

Karo/Diego was a great fight and the whole show was entertaining IMO. Diego proved that he is at the top of heap with that fight. I had the fight 10-9 Karo, 10-9 Diego, 10-9 Diego the 1st time I watched it and I switched the 2nd round to Karo upon a second viewing. I have no problem with Diego taking the decision since the 2nd round was a coin flip really, but I don't see it as 30-26. The scoring still needs some work as one of the undercard fights was scored 30-27, 30-26, 30-23 (???).

So Im not the only one... As much as I wanted Karo to beat Diego's ass, I thought Diego deserved a solid unanimous 29/28 decision. I can see one point either way but 30/26? That judge needs to retire to dog shows.

All I have to say is Diego Sanchez is a freakin STUD. That guy is absolutely SICK. I definitely think he had two rounds for sure and 1 round was close to a draw. Karo had some cool judo take downs but you could just tell it wasn't effecting Diego and Karo was completely battered and the judges saw that.

BADASS FIGHT ALL AROUND! 18-0 for Sanchez :)

I really can't wait for Diego to fight GSP or Hughes. Looking to see him get beat badly. He's a good fighter and probably an alright guy, but he was a douchebag on the show. Loved watching Bonnar put him in his place with the asparagus discussion.

Dean Lister has talent, but he needs to work on his versatility. The days of being able to do anything without really tight stand up game are over, and dean's stand up isn't up to par in my opinion. Plus, two grappling specialists going at it makes for a boring fight most of the time.

Diego won that fight cause he has enourmous amounts of endurance. The kid just doesnt get tired. Karo was gassed. He had some nice throws but nothing that proved to damaging, Like a tooth getting knocked out. Diego won atleast 2 rds in my eyes and maybe a third. Karo was out of it in rd one after that punch that cut him right below his eye. He was looking for the ref to stop it to check it but it never happened.

Lister fight was alright I agree with everyone saying they were gassed..Lister is just incredible on the ground and really needs to work on his stand up and he will move up fast. Sasaki is just so calm on the ground.

Many fighters would have been choked out multiple different times throughout that match. I was pretty impressed by his ground defense.

Heard Lister saying he dropped from 210 to 185...He definitely gassed hard midway through the 2nd round. I'm a big Lister fan and it's always nice to see the master of submission at work but that last fight looked real bad. I think once he drops the weight gradually he'll be all good. Some boxing work is definitely needed for Lister to make his game more complete.

The Diego/Karo fight...Man I was really pulling for Karo to finally get Sanchez off his high horse and give him some beat down. Karo had some nice throws but he also gassed in the third round. It was really close the first 2 rounds but gotta give Diego props for his superior conditioning. I was surprised to see Tito in Karo's corner, are they buds?

They've been training together. Saw it on this article. Not sure how long that has been going on for though.

Great article...I wonder if they'll throw Diego at the winner of the Hughes/St.Pierre fight...One of my co-workers was saying he heard some rumors that they may make Diego fight St.Pierre instead of having St.Pierre fight Hughes later this year. Anyone else hear of this? It's probably just rumor and gossip. :trout:

No way. GSP/Hughes would be a main event, diego GSP would be dissapointing. That would be a total mismanagement of talent. Do GSP/Hughes, if GSP wins give hughes a rematch, if hughes loses the rematch give diego a shot, if hughes wins the rematch set up another rematch lol, if GSP loses this match give diego a shot. That'd be the way to milk it properly :)

St. Pierre has a groin pull and may not fight Hughes. Penn may replace him....

I'd like to see Diego/Koscheck re-match. Did I really just say that?
