What happened to Frank Mir ?

I don't know that much about MMA, but I just saw a couple of tapes with Hwy named Frank Mir in the UFC.
Guy is incredible for a big guy.
What ever happened to him ?
Broke Tim Sylvia's arm, submitted somebody else with something called a shoulder crank in like 50 seconds
 
He got messed up in a motorcycle accident on the way home from his bouncing gig (cheap shot at UFC time) because the UFC pays their fighters chicken scratch. I'm pretty sure he's fighting Arlovski soon, isnt he?
 
The UFC HW champ was working a second job. That is just sad. At least he is coming back. I don't know about the Arlovski fight(I hope so)
 
He is not fighting Arlovski yet. He is fighting someone(i forget who) at UFC 57.
A good # of MMA fighters bounce at strip clubs in Las Vegas, Nevada.
 
The guy Mir is fighting (Cruz) is one of the best HW grapplers in the world. Dont think he's too experienced with full contact though my guess is Mir will take it to Cruz standing.
 
Mir should put Cruz away without breaking a sweat or at least dominate the entire match. Cruz may be a champ in BJJ but he didn't show much in his first fight. He looked really suspect in striking. Doesn't look athletic at all as well.
 
I think Mir blows. He almost lost to Wes Simms for god sake. He got brutally beat down by Ian Freeman whom is a b level fighter. Mir's jiu-jitsu is good for a big man, but if the person he is fighting is well rounded at all they will win. If Mir fights Arlovski I will be throwing down at least a grand on Arlovski. I can't believe people think Mir is good. Not even top 20 in my book. Guys that would easily destroy him: Arlovski, Fedor, Aleks, Sergei, Werdum, Hunt, Mirko, Noguiera brothers, Nastula, Yoshida, Vanderlei, Arona, Chuck, Tito, Igor, Overeem, Ricco(if he did'nt weigh 400), Heath Herring, Fujita, I could keep going. I just feel he is severely over-rated. He has two decent wins Sylvia, and hell that maybe it, Petey Williams was at the end of his career, and was'nt A level to begin with.

Who won't Fedor pound? Maybe a silverback gorilla. :)
 
Mir is over rated he only looks good against less skilled heavyweights he has no cardio at all. Arvlovski would eat him for breakfast.
