    Fight of the Year?

It's getting close to the end of the year and I've been pondering the great fights of the year.

So far, my list is (in no order):
    Sonnen/Silva
    Leben/Akiyama
    Jung/Garcia

    Thoughts?
    Other suggestions?

    All seriousness......
    Sonnen/Silva
Aldo/Faber (I really liked this one, it made Aldo a household name)

Sonnen tested positive after his fight with Silva didn't he if I'm not mistaken? If that is true I think it may leave that one particular fight of contention because of that.

Silva/Sonnen is still a big one regardless of controversy.
I also liked the Leben/Aki fight.

Dominick Cruz vs Joseph Benavidez was pretty entertaining too.

This may not be close to fight of the year but still one that sticks out for some strange reason is Robbie Lawler vs Melvin Manhoef

Condit/MacDonald. That fight had it all. Great ground fighting, back and forth stand up. The fight had amazing transitions. IMO this fight encompassed everything about MMA. Two highly skilled fighters at their best.

Leben/Akiyama and Jung/Garcia were both very entertaining fights. But didnt have the skill level of Condit/MacDonald. Both were great fights and runner ups IMO.

I liked the Cerrone vs Varner II. Cerrone looked like an animal in that fight.
