Both Randy and Frank whent up in weight for there fights with Brock, specifically Frank who Joe Rogan commented on how the extra weight slowed him down. As for Marcus Jones after the show(TUF) is done you will probable have to re-evaluate what you may think of him. He is a friggen stud. He doesnt hurt people by falling on them like Brock,he knocks them out,something Brock cant seem to do. And his ground game has gotten nasty sine the taping of the show.

I don't doubt that he's a genetic freak, but there is a huge difference between being a great fighter and a great athlete. Kevin Randleman for example...

If Carwin doesnt let Brock lay on him for the whole fight (like Heath Herring)he has a real good chase of winning

Outside of Nelson, very few of these guys have the potential to be elite fighters (Schoonover might get there, but it will be a lower class)

Heath has horrible TD defense and Lesnar was mainly toying with him. There's a lot to be said for in-cage time.

remember anthony hardonk OWNING heath hearing hahah. i think carwin and lesner wil own anyone in that house.

to have a super HW they would need a bunch of heavy guys who would totally suck. UFC wants cream of the crop.

for it to even be fun you would have to be in japan with no steroid testing. if not it would be gassing out fat guys.

Really? It seems to me all of UFCs "Cream of the crop" came from Pride.

Couple of thoughts:Just some observations to discuss

A) Most of the guys on the current TUF qulify as Super-Heavy

B) The largest disparity in weight by far is in the Heavy weight class the disparity is so great it
now has become a sanctioning issue

C) Nelsons performance (in my oppinion) was discaceful. They taped him talking about how to win by repetedy lightly touching an opponents head in order to stop the fight. Probably why Kimbo didnt look too worse for wear after.

Only Rod Nog has lived up to expectations in the UFC and it doesn't matter if they qualify at SHW. If they make 265, then they're golden. As it was said earlier, the only 2 that would actually do anything if said division actually existed would be Carwin and Lesnar. Maybe half of the cast would even weigh 265 lbs, but it usually benefits someone to compete at a lower weight class.

Well most of the guys on TUF suck so they would end up being punching bags lol. In relative terms to the guys they would be stepping into the octogon with.

The weight disparity among fighters is about 30 pounds at most usually. U don't see that many fighters weighing in under 230 except for most notable Randy Couture. Those who complain Brock is too big come fight time well he is playing with in the rules and using skills he aquired during part of his MMA training while wrestling.

Middle Weight 170-185 15LBS
Light Heavy 185-205 20LBS
Heavy 205-265 60LBS

BJ and Machida never fought for PRIDE; their fight was in K-1. Get your facts straight.

Who do you think owned K-1 .

so what about 60 pounds? its their problem for not cutting to 205 or not bulking up. cro cop did fine at 225. same with randy. another weight class would just make it less pure. and many fighters were in the UFC and went to pride then some back to UFC.

also i like mark colmen for what he did. it just sucks that he owned then got owned a bunch. did anyone use more steroids than him baroni and randlmen haha

I have that on DVD. Many of Takada's fights were fixed and so were some of PRIDE's early fights between their Japanese pro wrestlers.

Wow. K-1 is and has been owned by a completely different group than PRIDE (FEG; PRIDE was owned by DSE). Zuffa now owns DSE/PRIDE, but has ZERO stake in K-1. They put on a few hybrid shows together, but they're not the same group.
