    Cordygen VO2 and Judo

I recently stopped working out with weights, and started taking judo. I had been running working out 3 times a week: 2 mile run in 14-15:00 or so, followed by workouts revolving around deadlift, decline bench (bad shoulder), pullups, dips, and heavy rows.

Now I'm doing 3 two hours judo classes a week. Sounds similar, but no. My physical output has increased by several times. Judo is a tough workout as it is, and for a noob like myself, it's even harder: my technique is, of course, terrible, and so I rely on strength. The black belts seem to like me as a partner, because I'm pretty strong, and a challenge. They toy with me until I tire, then **** me up. Or just go straight to the '**** me up' part, lol. I end up fully tapped, sore, bruised, and hammered after nearly every class.

Class generally starts out with a 30-40 minute 'warmup', which many times is a lot of pushups, burpees, squats, and other calesthenics. Depending on who is teaching, I may or may not be a quivering mass of jelly after just the warmup, and class hasn't even started yet. then we go on to grappling/ground-fighting for 15 minutes, and the last 45 minutes is full-force fighting/throws/whatever you want.

It's brutal. The ground hits hard, getting up over and over is hard, moving black belt judo practitioners around is REALLY hard. This is where VO2 comes in: when I take 3-4 caps of VO2 before class, I may be out of breath, but I'm not gasping. Without VO2, I'm really struggling for breath, and that interferes with my effectiveness as a fighter and student. It's tough to learn new techniques, and apply them under attack, when all you really care about is sucking in your next breath. I haven't taken C5 before judo, yet, So no comparison to be made there. I'm not sure I'll switch back, based on VO2's effectiveness so far.

I'm also in the process of applying to a local police dept. I have a physical and written test next week. I'm interested to see how I do, as I've only had 3 weeks to prepare, and though I'm in better shape and my core is stronger, I'm weaker and have not been running at all. The physical is a 1.5 mile run, pullups, pushups, and situps.

I'm relying on the Judo training, and VO2, to pull me through.

Wow Poison, things sound like they are going well! I don't envy you one bit. I'd much rather lift heavy stuff than get my butt rolled three times a week in judo or any discipline for that matter. I have the utmost respect for what you are doing and I'm glad theat the Cordygen-VO2 is helping you out.

Good luck on the police physical test next week. I have a feeling you'll do extremely well Let me know how it goes. You'd think you could just say that you are ex-Israeli Military and they would hire you on the spot. LOL

    Have a great weekend!

Heh, 'butt-rolled'. That's about right! It's awesome, a lot of fun, but being tossed takes getting used to. The mats are soft-ish, and I'm still sore like a mother. I'm used to being hit, not thrown. These guys apologize like crazy when they accidentally hit me or knock heads or something, which is funny since they have no problem throwing me over their shoulder (got thrown last night, landed with my leg off the mat = ankle to hardwood contact. YES!!! lol). Hit me and I get excited. Throw me, and I wince, lol.

Thanks for the wishes! I think they'll be interested in my background. But at 34 I'll be on the old side, so...??

Thanks for putting out a great product, as usual, Matt!

When does Cordy V02 start to lose efficacy? I want to time a peak for a tournament I have.

Ok, I need to amend this: VO2 was great, but lately I've been using Cre02, and it's amazing. Better than VO2, I think because judo is both aerobic AND anaerobic; the ingredients in Cre02 hit both needs better than V02, and I'd venture a guess that the enteric coating is working some magic, too.

Looks like you've used Cre02, so I would stick with that. I'm on my 3rd consecutive bottle of Cre02, and notice no diminishing of effects. Also, Blue Gene was very good, yet different; I wouldn't hesitate to go off V02 or CRE02 and cycle BG in every couple months.

In terms of what I need (after having used both supplements already) VO2 would be more appropriate. I'm sure it has to do with the concentration being higher than Cre02 (which is a RIDICULOUS supplement in its own right).

Well, I don't think Cordyceps or jiogulan lose efficiacy; rhodiola does after around 6 weeks, IIRC.

I haven't heard any complaints of dizziness or lightheadedness but 6 caps can be too much for some people's stomachs making them a little queezy if taken all at once. I usually recommend going with three caps at a time.

We have actually reformulated the Cordygen-VO2 product to address this and stomach discomfort shouldn't be an issue with the new "Cordygen-VO2 ULTRA".

That could be the rhodiola, no? Some people are probably more sensitive to large doses. Ebol kicked my ass, headaches, lethargy, wanted to barf.

Just drop the VO2 for not, and start with 1 C5 for a couple days, then two, build up.

one has enteric coating, thats the C5, and it shouldn't upset your stomach, but there's a possibility it's not digesting in your system properly.

Try to take it down with some yogurt or digestive enzymes and see if that helps with the C5.

I like C5 for strength and Cv02 for the endurance, others may have it in reverse, but thats how it is for me.

to add to what was already said, Cordygen 5 has been formulated as a time released product lasting up to 12 hours as where v02 ultra is a faster acting formula meant for a BURST of cordyceps and added goodies.

Also I am going to check to make sure my sanity isn't off course here, but since my last order of Cordygen 5, it was not an enteric coated product. To my knowledge it should be dissolving in your stomach the same as v02 ultra.

have you tried running a candida cleanse lately? this usually cures issues that people see with Cordyceps....especially when they are as potent and pure as anything in the MST lineup.

Cordygen 5 is a time released product as I stated, but is not enteric coated.
