i recieved my sample today and was wondering if i could just put the powder in my mouth and let it dissolve a little and then drink water to wash it down? or should i just mix it with the recommended amount of water?

Either way works well. Some people like the sublingual method more because it hits you faster and harder. Overall the sleep quality and total GH release will be about the same.

Have tried the sublingual method a couple of times and has proven to be very effective.
