Ran out of Androgel - What to Expect ?

I'm having some trouble finding information on this .... So here it is ....

I started Androgel April 4 and went through the WOW - Crash Phase and upped my dose to 6 pumps .... All was okay until the 15th of May when I ran out .... I could not get the script refilled until the 27th and resumed my dosage of 6 pumps a day ....
I saw my Dr and he wrote the script for 6 pumps so I shouldn't have any issues ongoing ....

My question is ....

Seeing as though I was without for almost 2 weeks, how long will it take to get back to the way I was feeling .... I mean I knew it was working and am feeling it working a bit now, but it is really this bad ....

You go without for a week or two and you revert 100% back to the way you were and it takes the same amount of time to build back up ?

Please - Imput is appreciated ....

I think everyone would be different. How quick did you respond when you up'd to 6 pumps? Your probably at least partially shutdown but with a transdermal the test goes in quickly and is gone quickly. That is why you dose it daily. The day you started back on it your levels were pretty close to back to when you stopped. It would probably take a few days to a week to completely level out.

Well today/last night was the first WOOD in the middle of the night since I ran out .... So i have to think that it is coming back in the time frame you have said .... Today is Day 10 of being back at 6 pumps .... My head is also swimming with sexual thoughts .... Back the way it was before the Run Out .... SMILE
I am still a bit anxious and worried about getting back into the bedroom though ....
I just find it odd that there is nothng in the studies to say that it takes x long ....
Have you ever run out ? Are youl also on Androgel ?

Dependency sucks.... Have you ever thought what might happen should you ever be in a situation where TRT in no longer an option???

Where were your baseline numbers before you started therapy?

Considering your age and your LH number HCG may have worked for you.

Mmmmm .... Why do you say that My LH is kinda lower .... Or was .... If that is the case .... I could do a PCT to resatart maybe .... Correct ?

It depends on why your LH was low. Were you coming off cycle?

No ... I had bilateral varicocele .... I have never done steroids ....

your LH is not that bad. It's normal .
When your LH and FSH are normal
Thyrid is normal and Testosterone is low. you need to check why it's low even though your varicocele is fixed (based on your age). Are your testes having good size.

I have a doubt. Can't we fix this testosterone issue with Reiki,accupunture, or any other healing things.

You are lucky your doc was ok with you going 6 pumps on your own, and even wrote a script for it. My doc is way too careful, I started 4 pumps April 30th, started to feel a little better, then crashed. She will not adjust dose for me period until after july 15. She says HRT for men is a balancing act. She says too much could lead to cancer for me. My test level was almost the same as yours, below 300. Very hard to forget about how good it was to feel "normal" again and then feel as bad or worse as before. My nuts have got smaller, need Viagra to perform again. Have you found the best spot for the gel to absorb? Nice to hear that the 6 pumps made such a change. Good Luck!

Yeah I do consider myself lucky .... You need to go to AllThingsMale and print off DR Johns best practices for HRT and his update and gice it to her .... Now if you have an elevated PSA I agree with her and how careful she is being .... But if you have a clean PSA then print it and let her read it .... kinda force it on her .... I also agree that it is a blancing act and if again your PSA is clear let her know that you have tilted to the wrong side of the balance as you do not feel like you did at first on the T ....
I know what you mean unfortuantely .... I ran out as the title of the thread says and experienced the back slide .... I am at day 10 and feeling better but not where I was .... I called the nurse line for my DR and she called and told me that it would be a month before I felt like I did .... i tell you they have no clue what they are talking about sometimes .... It may take two weeks but I do not see it taking more than that ....
Even on the 6 pumps I needed the viagra .... But the effect was quicker .... I know what you mean though I hate to take it in the first place ....
I do my shoulders and inner biceps and each side of my chest .... I have also put it on the bottom of my feet a couple of times .... I heard the uptake is quick there .... But mostly the first 3 places .... I'm very hairy so my inner biceps and sides of my chest are the least hairy .... My shoulders are hairy as all get out ....
