How long does it take for Anastrozole to take effect?

I have had outrageously high estrogen levels for the last year because of TRT and have finally been able to get my Dr. to prescribe Anastrozole, .5 mg EOD.

How long does it generally take for it to start lowering estrogen? Thanks.

Name, value, range, units.
name of laboratory.
Describe when blood was drawn in relation to T supplementation.

0.5*7/2=1.75

1.75mg/week is a sizeable dose.
Recheck within 4-6 weeks, you do not want to go the other way, low E2 is not fun either.

Does low E2 = general anxiety, cause I think thats what I had, its getting better now that I have started HCG I think.

Glad your feeling better.

I have seen claims that it takes up to a month to recover from low E2 induced by to much Arimidex.

For long time (over 6 months) I felt ok on my LiquiDex dose.
Generally and a wood vise.

Then arund end of Feb I started haveing wood problem.
3/19/08 blood draw, 3/31/9 learned I have low E2.
Stopped Liquidex, yesterday had a sex no problem, but still feel long way to go to get to better shape.

With all that said, Anastrozole leaflet says that it have 50 hrs half life.
I think that it should be taken on EOd schedule, sometimes even every day.
Only liquid can be divided that fine, to make it practical.

what was your e2 serum before armidex. 1.5 may be a large amount to start out with and depending on your system responds might drive you down to low to fast. As soon as you get morning erections for a day or so then all of sudden they stop. This is a sign that you went to low and its time stop until mornig erections come back and then start at .5mgs every 3 days. Your goal is 18-25 e2 levels with appropiate shbg or 15-18 ultrasensitive e2
