I know this subject may have been debated before, however, just trying to get some current feedback. What are some of you're thoughts, arguments for or against, etc for more frequent shots verses once per week for T-Cyp. I know I have read it works better for people with low SHBG, but in my case I have very high SHBG, > 50?

Any comments appreciated.

You have a very high SHBG.
Other than watching your BAT
it may be important to keep your E2 on a high side.
You can monitor it using thise two tests at Quest:

Estradiol, Free, LC/MS/MS (36169X)
Testosterone, Free, Bio/Total (LC/MS/MS)

Goal

BAT~575
FreeE2(0.45 - 0.6) possibly 0.75 to put more pressure on your SHBG

To get there you need a lot of testosterone.

180 1228 36.3 300 x48.5 250
185 1256 38.2 300 x50.7 250
190 1284 xx40 300 x52.8 250
195 1312 xxxx 300 xx55 250
200 1340 xx44 300 xx57 250
205 1369 xxxx 300 x59.3 250
210 1397 xx48 300 x61.5 250
215 1425 xxxx 300 x63.4 250
220 1453 51.7 300 xxxx 250
225 1481 xxxx 300 xxxx 250
230 1510 55.6 300 xxxx 250

about 220mg/week (on average)

This high amount is going to be short lived, and once you SHBG falls you will have to switch to lower dose.

Considering EOD schedule and 3/10cc syringe size, use 210mg/week and EOD schedule

So each shot is 33units on syringe, full syringe.
=============================================
You must have few other problems going on with this high SHBG.
Why do not you do my long list of blood testing at Quest

and

NutrEval at Genova

The test I have given you is very sensitive.
If you use FreeE2 as indicator you are much more accurate in your E2 assesment.

On the normal E2 test you could be too low or too high and you would not even know the difference.

On this test try to stay around upper range, as I indicated.

You should use relatively frequent checking until you stabilize your FreeE2 levels and figure the right AI dose.
Best use Liquidex on days of T shots.

With your high SHBG this is how much you need.
Hopefully your SHBG fill fall to somewhere about 25.

I hope te NutrEval will find more of your problems and give you a way to make corrections.

I called today Genova.
You can call them, give your Zip Code, they will e-mail you a list of doctor who is using their services.

Perfect way of finding new doctor.

Thank you. I will call Genova. Also, where does the chart you use come from that determines amount of test based on SHBG levels? Is this a published study I could show my doctor?

Chart on my post #41
http://anabolicminds.com/forum/male-anti-aging/66268-jans-bloodtest-april13-2.html

I got it from one of dr Shippen's patients.
On the bottom of that chart you will find reference on what it is based on.

If you find name of the book where it is posted,
please share.

Just remember that any FreeT assays are mostly useless,
probably except when don totally manually in research laboratories.
For us mortals labs use test kits that are wrong.

I do not have discusion on this readily accessible.
I posted about many times, look around.

Best is to use tha tests at Quest that I have give you.
.
.
Look at BAT only, and try to not be distracted by very high Total T that you actually need.
It is a function of your v high SHBG that you have.

That SHBG is just one of the indicators that you have other problems to identify and hopefully resolve.
Go to Genova.
Do my blood test list at Quest.
