I just attempted to re-fill my script for Novarel HCG and was told by the pharmacist that it is on back order, with no expected date for arrival...:wtf:

He said the people at Novarel said that there is a shortage of raw material....

Any one have a similar experience?? He suggested a generic.

Yes, last Thursday I called and then Saturday I picked my Novarel.
Pharmacist told me similar story.

If you need Novarel for our "normal" testicle mantenace I suggest you take generic.

There are conflicting reports on using generic HCG.

If you need Novarel for fertility issue, wait or use HMG, or better ask doctor's advice.

I am using it as a way to re-start my HPTA..
I have an appointment for BW on Nov. 1st, so I am going to have to go with the generic..

It is not much cheaper either,,, $42.00

Thanks

Wish you luck.

There was a theory going few months ago.
It was advice to me from PrimordialPerformace.
I lost the reference to that post.
I like the advice.

(HCG 250iu + HMG 75iu) E2D for 6 months to a year.

E2D every other day.

Keep that in mind.

jansz wouldnt the hcg hmg combo referenced be about a $100 each injection day? if so that would be 9 grand over 6 months. By no means am I saying it wouldn't be worth it. Did primordial give any reasoning?

I think you can ask this question PP, he is either on his board or on Meso board.

FWIW, I think HCG is about $40/month. If HMG is the same (I don't know), then you'd be $100/month not $100/day.

FWIW, a friend of mine in NYC said the same thing about the hCG. Pharmacy can't get it, although he seemed to suggest they couldn't even fill a generic.

I'll have to let him know generics are available.

My sister in law is pregnant. Maybe I should have her piss into a strainer.

How do they get the raw material, anyways? All kidding aside, could pregnant women sell their urine?

Yeah my script was called into Walgreen's on Monday. I went to pick it up and they said it was being ordered...come back Tuesday. I go back Tuesday and they say it's still not there. I go back wednesday and they say it is manufacturer back-ordered. So I found another Walgreen's on the other side of town that had some and they transferred the script. Royal pain in the arse for a little Novarel. There seems to be some validity to the claim that HcG is in high demand, low supply.

Thanks for the responses. I was beginning to think that the pharmacist did not want to fill it. He is always talking about the "Feds" investigating him for selling so much of it. My Uro has me on 1,000 units EOD, so I am constantly buying it.

Yesterday I picked up my generic from another Cosco, it is from, American Pharmaceutical Partners. Anyone have any experience with their products??

Yes, we would actually need a prescription on file before we can dispense any medications. Our fax # is 800-874-9179. Also, we would need to get your admittance started or we can wait until we receive your prescription. If you would like to go ahead and get admitted you can call 800-424-9002 and press option # 1.

Thanks

MarkLA, HMG is significantly more expensive than HCG. For example GONAL-f has a 450 unit vile (6 doses) that is $525 at my local pharmacy. Hope this helps.

Interesting. I think someone (JanSz?) posted about ivfmeds.com which is an apparently legit (prescription required) mail order place. They are about 1/2 of that, but you're right it's expensive either way.

I'd imagine that it'd be hard to get insurance to pay for this. They'd rather pay for Test Cyp or even Androgel than something that costs $500/week.

This is one aspect of HRT that scares the heck out of me.

What happens if yuo couldn't get meds one day?!

Although I suppose this is also strong practical support for using hCG continuously while on TRT; never allowing the testes to lose their endogenous function (and maybe even improving it, from WIU).

I had no issue getting a 10,000 iu Novarel kit in Maryland. It's not stocked, so they get advance notice. I called Friday, picked it up Tuesday with no issues, at least this time.

TTT

This month the pharmacy can't find Novarel from their supplier. Is there another brand on the market or have supplies dried up? Has this been pulled from the market. Does anyone know what's going on. The pharmacist can't help, has no information and says come pick the script up if I like.

This same thing happened a year or so ago, the supply was interrupted for several weeks. No brand was available - not even ovidrel.

I went to my Doc last week and said I was getting close to running low on my Pregnyl (7 weeks in to my 250IU 3xweek) and they shipped it to me with my compounded test cream.

I too went to fill my perscription for HCG at Walgreens and they have tried for week to get it without success. I ended up going through my wife's fertility pharmacy. They had it no problem.

I guess the Swedish pissing nuns are on holiday.
have to be pregnant to qualify

That brings a question.

I am thinking to buy EPT, early pregnancy tester
to check on quality of my HCG

There is a lots of them.

Any particular name that is prefered?
The most inexpensive?
How much of my HCG will I have to put on a tester, I dilute 10000iu in 5mL, so I do not have a much volume to spare.

I ordered my refill from caremark yesterday, and they were out as well. They filled it with the brand name equivalent, pregnyl without issue.

Also got test-enanthate to see if I react any differently to that vs test-cyp, both from watson.

I have my prescription plan at Caremark.
Probably different policy, they do not pay for

HCG
Testosterone shots.
Armour Thyroid

They used to pay thousands for Androgel, go figure.

Very finicky about my Cialis.
Ordered refill one day too early, they cancelled my prescription. Constant delays.

Got a link to an outfit $4 for 4 Cialis pills, they are not ready to deal with credit cards yet, promissing for next week.

Shipping steep.
10x4=40 pills +$27 shipping
bottom line $67 for 40 pills, should not be that bad, similar to LiquiCia but pills.

Ja sa' att de var svenska! I said they were Swedish. Never said there were catholic or celibate.

Anyway. I hope they figure this out soon.
