Shrinking Penis Syndrome
Before TRT, my penis was staying in the short, compact, ready for battle mode far too long. Is this typical of low T?
I quit braggin about a big penis long ago. Erect size hasn't changed much (if at all) - so once a month, if lucky - I'd be standing at attention, in all my glory - all 6" of me. <g>.
Well, as the 50s hit, I found the main man hiding out all the time. retracting to the point where just the guys helmut was visible. I joked to myself that my penis was turning into a clit. The problem was - that this position put the tip of my penis in a position to rub against my shorts - not in a pleasurable way.
Since TRT, this is no longer the case. I'm grateful that "stubby" has returned. In my un-aroused state - i'm no longer retracted like I was. I guess I'm saying my penis size at rest is about an inch longer, and no longer experience the discomfort.
Is this common with old guys? I remember a comment by my father - shortly before his death (died in his late 60s) - complaining about his penis getting shorter as he got older.
I never thought I'd post a message telling the world that I'm excited that my short penis is back and working fine. (now if only I can find a use for my morning wood.....)

Pines is wery important but it is only one side of the picture.
When over-all health is optimal, pines have a better reason to work.
If you want, post your complete health story, tests you did, we may have sugestions.
At "certain" age, with the rest of health in check, one may benefit from Cialis 2/week, if anything, it may prevent wrong rubbing.
Dad dying in his 60's should give you a good incentive to check your health.
May want to read my thread, I am 67yo, at 60-62 my pines have given me warning, at 67 it is kicking the butt couple times a week and looking for more:

Thanks JanSz - i do post from time to time, was more just adding to the anecdotal stuff here - maybe my "story' wasn't appropriate - if so - someone can delete this thread.
Yes, father's death was a concern - but then he smoked non stop from age 14. Lung cancer. He was a one match smoker - only using one match a day.
The TRT is going well, just wanted to say that in a penile kind of way.

I have the same problem when I'm not on Testosterone. Like there's no bloodflow there. I think it's low DHT. When I'm on Test, my DHT always comes up and things start "hangin' low" like they should.
When on Nolvadex or HCG or anything else to raise Test, I can get my levels to come up, but getting DHT to follow has been hard. I guess that makes me a good candidate for gels.

Post all you want, it's always good to know what to expect and makes one hopeful to know what things it might fix. I have the same problem, waiting for the T gel to kick in. 2 weeks so far but I dont feel too much. My energy I think is better but can't tell cause I'd have times before when I was fine but then I'd go into a 2 week sleep time when it would take all I had to feel like even walking around. Plus my blood sugar always plays into it greatly.

The same thing happened to me anotheroldguy.
Definitely hanging fuller all day. Yohimbe can help this also (the good stuff).
I am 36 btw.

It was from bark extract. I'd love the stuff if it didn't make my head "stuffy" and hot and make me pace like a crackhead.

Amount Per Serving:
Yohimbe Bark Extract (Pausinystalia yohimba) 450 mg
(2% Yohimbine Alkaloids = 9 mg)
So my understanding would be 450 mg of the bark standardized to 2% yohimbine, or 9 mg actual yohimbine.
Hope this helps.

I have Yocon (Yohimbine HCL) . I gor my urologist to write me a prescription. It says 5mg three times a day.
Question to yohimbine users: Do you think Yohimbine HCL will be more potent than Yohimbine bark ?
Did you take all of your dose in one shot ? Like 9 mg or 16 mg whatever you have been taking ?

Yes, as an OTC product, it contains the 9 mg in one pill.
Whether that translates mg for mg in your prescription product, I do not know.
I would try asking your pharmacist, because the real question is whether what is contained in an OTC product is the same thing as what's in the Rx.
