Well, tomorrow I go in for my 3rd shot. Overall I am feeling a lot better. It seems like the Test CYP shot doesn't really kick in until about 2 days before my next inject. So, I have a good libido for about 3 days out of the week. Is this normal?

What is all this "going for shots".Well, tomorrow I go in for my 3rd shot. Overall I am feeling a lot better. It seems like the Test CYP shot doesn't really kick in until about 2 days before my next inject. So, I have a good libido for about 3 days out of the week. Is this normal?
What is the alternative to the injects? I highly doubt he will let me self inject. I tried androgel before and that stuff didn't work at all. I don't mind the shots as long as it has me feeling better. I don't know why my Dr. put me on test cyp. (100mgs per week) Should I ask for depo T and what exactly is depo T (I am in the USA)? No I am not getting HCG. My docter is a retard and has no clue bout anyhing, but I am in the military and have to take what I get. I am not even being tested for E2. I definatly don't want my doctor to increase time between shots. Maybe I can ask for Test Prop or Enthanate??What is all this "going for shots".
That will get old quiclky.
You or your doctor will try to increase time between shots.
You are wasting lots of time in your life, insted of few minutes affair it becomes aproject.
What is your SHBG?
Are those shots large enough.
Are you getting HCG.
So many questions.
Nothing against T cypionate, I thought you are in USA where Depo_T is available.
I am glad that you are feeling better.
The worst screwed up T delivery is still working positively on depression and blues.
My bad, testosterone cypionate=Depo-testosteroneWhat is the alternative to the injects? I highly doubt he will let me self inject. I tried androgel before and that stuff didn't work at all. Thanks for all the advice JanSz. I do not know what my SHBG is because my Dr. didn't test it. I am going to try to get the missing bloodwork and tests as time goes on. The estrogen issue doesn't worry me too bad because I've got some Arimidex on the way just in case I run into any problems. I was thinking I should ask for Test Prop because Cyp takes so long to kick in. Would this be a good idea?My bad, testosterone cypionate=Depo-testosterone
In military life possibly you have all the time to go for shots.
But tell me your SHBG level, you may need more frequent shots,
you may need different amount of test.
Thank you for serving my country.
If Androgel did not worked for you, do not get talked into another type of transdermals,
stay with shots.
Possibly you could educate your doctor and get the
missing blood tests
and
missing medicines
tell you doctor that you can get cancer if he does not help you with estrogens.
he may not be sympatetic if you complain about erections, cancer may get his attention.
When taking about HCG, again tell him that it helps with estrogens and do not stress the wanishing balls part.

JansZ knows my opinions on trying to base an HRT program on a inaccurate test like SHBG. :whip:
Transdermal didn't work for you, fine, go to shots.
You probably need a more frequent shot schedule and you need hcG.
I do not understand why more people just don't make the trip up here to michigan.
From my understanding once you get tuned up one only needs to see Dr John once or twice a year, at 50 bucks a visit.
Better than dealing with uneducated MD's.
Trust me if I could somehow get the military to pay for it then I would go see Dr. John in a heart beat. Maybe I could send Dr John an email and ask him if he knows of a way. I have tons of leave saved up so I could make the trip to Michigan no problem. I wish there was someone else on here that was in the military that is also on TRT that could give me some advice. Overall the military Dr's. are the most unknowledgable Dr's. (if that is what you want to call them, I call them quacks) of all. You have no idea the stuff that they tell service members. When I had my varicocele they told me that I don't but I insisted that I did they told me it was in my head and made me an appointment to talk to a military shrink!JansZ knows my opinions on trying to base an HRT program on a inaccurate test like SHBG. :whip:

Just watch out, if you do not get properly adjusted this will go away.Trust me if I could somehow get the military to pay for it then I would go see Dr. John in a heart beat. When I started to bring up the Testosterone problem they told me it was in my head again and tried to make me another appointment to see the Wizard (military psychiatrist). I told them I wanted to see an endo and they told me flat out "no" I asked for blood work and they put things in my medical record that said I was "narcissistic" and that I request "unnecessary medical tests." I had one Dr. (quack) tell me to just go home and watch porn to see if something happens! This has been a long stressfull road not to mention that I have to deal with things on a daily basis that most people will never have to do in their lifetime and all the while feeling like total s*** because of the low Testosterone. So, I finally get this appt. to see an Endo and he knows nothing, but at least he has me on Test which has made the last 3 weeks of my life an absolute dream. I actually WANT to PT (physical training) with my unit, I now get hard just thinking of my wife and I wake up with raging wood in the morning! Even though my life is improving I still feel like I could be feeling better if I could just get my endo to perform the proper tests that need done and maybe give me some HCG and Arimidex (if I need it).
Thanks bro. Yeah I like to rant on here ever now and again lol. Hopefully my endo can be educated or if it gets really bad I can try to find some way to make an appointment to see Dr. John. I wonder if he could talk to my Dr. to try and talk some sense into him :lol:Just watch out, if you do not get properly adjusted this will go away.
Then you doctor will have a proof that you do not need testosterone.
Man, I am sorry for how much crow you have to eat to get thru to these morons.
Just be cool talking to them, they have got you by your short and curly.
If you need to unload, write it here, we understand.
So, it only costs 300 bucks to see Dr. John? The problem is not the trip it is the medicines and blood work that I will have to pay out of pocket which I cannot afford.Hyde, its 300 bucks. Your 28 and capable. Make the dough, make the trip.
Rheins Urine testing, THE gold standard in hormone evaluation - 224 bucks. So, it only costs 300 bucks to see Dr. John? The problem is not the trip it is the medicines and blood work that I will have to pay out of pocket which I cannot afford.
OK I am really loosing my patience with my retarted endo! I go into today for my one month follow up (just started TRT last month) and I bring in Dr. Johns papers and my endo practically threw them back at me and said "there is no scientific evidence that Estrodiol has any impact on males":wtf: and he also said that "HCG is out of the question" He has me on 100mg Test Cyp per week and I had my blood drawn right before my 3 week injection and the results came back at 356 TT. This seems low, but it was on day 7 so I am sure It is much higher on day 3 (at least I hope so). I have no idea what any of my other hormones are at because this idiot won't test them. He told me that he is going to keep me at 100mg as see me in 3 months :wtf: I made another appt. at military sick call to try and get a second opinion from another Endo (I sure this will be easy). I am so sick of dealing with this crap. I have been feeling a little better from the shots though, but my libido is still not like it used to be
I shall restate what i said before. GO TO DR JOHN.OK I am really loosing my patience with my retarted endo! I REALLY want to go to Dr. John, but I have a family and I just can't take leave to drive or fly to see Dr. John. I may just have to bide my time and save up the doe to make the trip if I can't get a good Dr. to help me out. The bad thing is is that I won't know if my blood levels stabilize because this Dr. isn't going to see me again until 3 months from now  Maybe I should add in some DHEA until the mean time?????I shall restate what i said before. GO TO DR JOHN.
You will never be happy with this current fukwad doctor.
I think you are right, but I had a cortisol stim test that came back fine (just barely). I had thyroid checked a couple of times and it came back good. So, you still arent better even after getting treated for Adrenal Fatigue? below is my cortisol stim blood work.Hyde, thought i should add in some input here bro. Our situations are really similar. Varicoceles cause all manner of problems bro, not just testosterone. I've just had saliva cortisol results back and they showed low cortisol (zone 5 adrenal fatigue). Basically varicocele (even when repaired - i also have one vein hanging about like you, unfixed since the operation) cause a constant inflammation condition that can lead to adrenal hyperactivity and eventually adrenal fatigue. Adrenal fatigue results in lowered libido, corisol production, etc.
You need to check to look into adrenals, thyroid then sex hormones (in this order).
I would also go for 125mg of testosterone weekly. This should keep you at the top end of the scale. HCG would be a huge bonus, shooting 250 (or 500iu) on day's 5/6 would be ideal. I am willing to bet your adrenals and thyroid are out of whack this will wreck ALLOT of havok on your libido, erections, etc. I have reduced penile sensation, ED, low libido, shrinkage, etc about 90% of the time.
Well, so you do not have idea what your blood levels are of anything that we would like to know and you have no means to correct this.OK I am really loosing my patience with my retarted endo! I hope this is not threadjacking but very curious on varicocele. Please do post some more info on the varicolcele-thyroid-T connection. I have a "moderate left varicocele". The left testicle has always been atrophic too and nothing hurts so I didn't worry about it. I figured why have surgery there if it isn't causing a problem. Now you have me thinking..Everyone i have seen so far has thyroid problems due to varicocele (hypothyroidism). It always appears to be just "borderline" allot of the time too. Get your TSH, Total T3/T4 and Free T3/T4 checked in full to get a better idea.
One thing i noticed was varicocele caused some kind of weird conversation problem too with Progesterone, i will explain this better tomorrow.?
Run it at.20 e3d that puts you at a conservative dosage of .46 mgs a week of liquidex. Might hit some reservatrol and calcium D, TMG to help keep e metabolism flowing.OK, so I have some LDex and I decided to take .25mgs last night to see how I felt. Well I did not sleep good because I was constantly waking up with erections!?! So maybe my E2 is high?? I hate having to make a shot in the dark when retard Dr's wont do the right tests!
I think I will order some reservatrol. So far I am feeling much better today after the L-Dex I took last night. I almost always have lower abdominal bloating, which I think is caused by E2. The bloating seems to have gone down today :head: Will high E2 make you have lower TT?Run it at.20 e3d that puts you at a conservative dosage of .46 mgs a week of liquidex. What sucks even more is the fact that I have to go to a clinic to get my injections every Tuesday :frustrate so I can't modify my injection routine at all :smite:Well, so you do not have idea what your blood levels are of anything that we would like to know and you have no means to correct this.
All you have is a vial or two of testosterone and order from doctor to do 100mg/week shots.
If you are in possesion of testosterone I would say all you have to do is recalculate the dose for E3D or if too complicated, make half of it and take twice weekly.
Just that change will make your situation better.
Hate to say this, but most/many people on T shots need AI.
Does not mean that it is your problem, specially that you are most likely on too low dose of test, you may want to get bottle of LiquiDex, use 0.5cc twice a week for 2-3 weeks and see if that makes you feel better.
You need high tech help and without minimal doctor's cooperation it is going to be up hill.
I would love to see some info on this as wellI hope this is not threadjacking but very curious on varicocele. Please do post some more info on the varicolcele-thyroid-T connection. Low e2 causes same thing as high e2 just so you know in the future. Low e2 for long time will suppress your protein syntheiss and actually turn off your fat burning capabilities and it will store it in the liver..I think I will order some reservatrol. So far I am feeling much better today after the L-Dex I took last night. I almost always have lower abdominal bloating, which I think is caused by E2. The bloating seems to have gone down today :head: Will high E2 make you have lower TT?
