Cortisol Stim bloodwork

OK my endo says this is OK, but it doesn't seem OK to me. Cortisol is supposed to rise >16 mcg/dl after injection and mine only went to 12.6. Also, the rest of the values are borderline.

CORTISOL STIMULATION,
3 SPECIMENS
TIME1 BASELINE
SPECIMEN1 12.6 MCG/DL
TIME2 30 MINUTES
SPECIMEN2 25.6 MCG/DL
TIME3 60 MINUTES
SPECIMEN3 25.5 MCG/DL

NORMAL RESPONSE: PEAK GREATER THAN 20 MCG/DL
(>16 MCG/DL AFTER IM INJECTION)

I am not a doctor, medical or otherwise.
What I am going to say is probably heresy, so do not tell anybody that I have told you this.

Adrenals are finicky to test.

I would go to doctor and get script for
Cortef
and
Florinef

Take up to 3 weeks time, try Cortef first up to 30mg/day divided dose.
If it does not make significant difference stop (cold) Cortef.
If you are also on Armour, probably gradual dose reduction may be better.

Wait a week.

Try Florinef, I am not familiar with dose size or timing, but you get the idea.

When one have a weak Adrenals and this two meds do not make a difference I am not sure what will.

Tweaking and changing to another kinds of cortisone is saved for latter.

Why doesn't it seem OK? Your peak is greater than 20 mcg/dl.

Well, because I know that I feel like crap with low normal Testosterone, so why wouldn't it be the same with cortisol? I have a lot of the symptoms of adrenal fatigue, but the one that really bugs me is cold hands and feet.

Anything I can take over the counter that might work? How about Isocort? I don't know anything about cortisol/thyroid issues and really want some help in this. I asked my endo for further testing, but he doesn't think it is necessary.
