When blood is taken from where the gel is applied, I have seen TT and FT levels can be shown higher than really is.
What about FAI, and E2, is this shown higher than usual also?

My last blood test has shown some unusual results.

From what I remember, when blood is taken from where the gel was applied, free testosterone is like 5x the upper limit and TT is 2x the upper limit.

My results came back and E2, FT and TT were all 1.5x the upper limit, on 1 sachet of testogel per day.

The thing is, from what I know its just as high for a real result as it is low for a bad draw, if you get what I mean.

I can still see the mark from where blood was taken(forearm) and im trying to figure out if maybe when I bent my arm it butterfly-smudged some gel onto my forearm.

Yea I am pretty confused, my doctor doesnt even see it as strange at all, and I still dont see how any gel got to where the blood was taken. I guess I find out when I do my next test in 1 months time.

I got that butterfly thing from some story about standing up from the toilet without wiping your ass 1st, LOL.

I had blood drawn from the application area and my TT was 2000 so I called and complained and they gave me a free test the next day. My level was 600 when taken from an area where I do not apply the cream.

Getting stabbed in the hand was fun. That is about the only area I havent applied cream.

i had a similar result with crazy abnormal results because of drawing from where I had applied earlier. The doctor flipped and wanted to stop or reduce my androgel to EOD. Needless to say, I started looking for a new doctor, and NOT an endocrinologist.

This is very common.

TT/FT/DHT will all come back elevated.

Since nurse usually draws blood from left arm, make sure you shower, apply gel on right side only.

This should be the only time you ever have to apply gel with hand FYI.
