Hi guys,
I'm seeing one of the top andro docs in the country.
He ordered me to get an MRI and another set of more complete blood testing.
There is also a section with options for cortisol testing. I can have it done if I want. I just have to check the little boxes. Which one is better?
Here's what it says.
Cortisol (8h or 16h)
ACTH
Which boxes do I tick? Can I do cortisol and ACTH the same morning?
So I have a box for 8h cortisol, one for 16h cortisol and another box for ACTH.
Alongside with that, he has me testing the following:
-CBC
-Glucose AC
-Urea
-NA/k
-Chloride
-Total proteins
-Calcium
-Phosphate
-Serum iron
-SGOT
-GPT
-SGGT
-CPK
-Cholesterol
-Triglycerides
-Bioavailable test
-Total test
-SHBG
-TSH
-T4
-FSH
-LH
-PSA
-Prolactin (x1) (Theres also a x3 option but he didnt tick the box)
I can basically have anything else I want tested if I write it down, but here are some more options that aren't ticked. Let me know if there's anything crucial that shouldn't be missed. I want it to be as complete as possible.
(under biochemistry)
-Diabetic
-Glucose 2h PC
-Insulin
-HGP
-Uric acid
-TIBC
-Amylase
-Lipase
-
Under special hematology)
-Blood group
-Blood Rh
-Coomb's direct or indirect
(under electrophoresis)
-protein
-immuno GAM
-Complements: C3 or C4
-Syntroid
-B12
Folate
-Ferritin
-CEA
-B-HCG
-Co2
-Ionised Calcium
SEROLOGY:
-ASO
-"C" reactive protein (CHRP)
-Rheumatoid factor (RA)
-Antinuclear (ANA)
Thanks guys.
