Dr.John "Averages" questions

Dr.John I know you have said that there is variability in regards to the dose of injected test that will bring men into the upper quartile of normal, however, after years of treating men have you noticed an "average" IM dose that will generally accomplish this?

Also, what percentage of men that reach the upper quartile with IM testosterone need small doses of an AI like arimidex to bring their E2 level down to mid normal?

First, as anyone who comes into my office on new appointment soon finds, we aren't shooting for any particular range (other than the fact we stay within normal range).

But, "on average", probably 80-100mg of TC QW.

Probably 1/4 of my guys need estrogen control. Tuning up the res of the nutritional picture often makes AI unnecessary.

Please explain these abreviations.

TC-- probably Testosterone Cypionate

QW-- ????? (twice wekly-wild guess) (so 80-100mg is a indiwidual dose or weekly dose)
I am uncomfortable with abreviations.
