    just got back from Doctor..

well, im abit disappointed, but ill make my long story short...

i got the results of my bloodwork back, although i didnt have everything tested.....im confused...

    TOTAL TEST
    11.5 NMOL/l (10-28 NORMAL)= 332NG/DL (300-1200)

    BIO-T
    6.42 ng/dl (4-10), which i n USA terms is?? 64.2 PG/ML, norm as per mayoclinic 72-235pg/ml

so the all important bio-t looks normal....so why do i feel so "frumpy"

he made up an order for estadiol and the others.....so we can go from there....

does it look like maybe my E2 is high THUS, TOTAL TEST is low???? BUT if my BIO-T is good....should i still not have energy and stuff....

    please advise...

    thanks

bump, and i fixed the bioT units, i think i used the incorrect ones...... so he said my bioT is normal, and clearly its BELOW the normal.... and even MORE SO if we used the 20-29yr ref range....im JUST 30 yrs old...

MAN, IM SO MAD AND ANXIOUS NOW.....hes setting up an appt with a urologist for a 2nd opinion, and i will have more blood work for a more complete picture... i think hes leary about writing a script for me.....last time he said we would, seemed to backpedal this time....when i was leaving i was angry and said "I DONT EXCEPT THIS AS NORMAL!" and he again said when we get the estrogens and stuff back, we'd do something...

    i guess i wait 4 more weeks...

so, anyone... those two numbers certainly dont appear normal for a 30yr old does it./

you know what, the more i research, i get more confused...

the bio test levels............i have no idea what the units were

    6.42......either 1. ng/dl
    2. nmol/L
    3. pg/ml or about 8 other units out there....

because as per merck.com normal biot is under 2.4nmol/L.........so if thats my units.... my 6.42 is normal?
but most of what i see is 62-500 NG/DL............SO WHAT IS MY 6.42 CONVERTED??

Try to relax all of this stressing out is just making your T levels go down even more. You levels are very low by me count 11.5 is normal for a 85 to 100 yr. old man. All you can do is wait for more testing we need to know why you so low before you go on T meds. Tell me what your confused about and I will try and help you just calm down.

It is hard to make first step with out that.

balancing out estrogens and estrogen metabolism will help bring up your T levels and also free t's.

need to get more indept tests to see over all pics cortisol could be a big factor and omega 3 (fish oils), ZMA, and relaxation before bed may be all that is needed to return your self to normal levels.. lower ing cortisol is easy raising its a real biatch

Need to verify that inforamtion first cortisol is a tricky beast it can be both high and low at different times of the day. saliva 24 hour test would verify that.

Cal/mag is useless to take because calcium inhibits the absorbtion of all minerals. Most forms of Zinc sold are useless as well as they are not the particular brand of zinc aspartate, and they are wiothout vit B6.

You need to check out t-nation.com. You want to pick up ZMA, resveratrol and Flameout. Dermacrine may also be an option for you as well.

Cortisol is a tricky beast. Make sure you are getting 8 hours of sleep a night. ZMA will help this.

No more caffeine or alcohol. Water is all you will drink. No pop.

    Yes, they ship to canada.

No more caffeine for you. When I quit, I went threw some pretty severe withdrawal(as an italian american, I was practically drinking coffee/expresso since birth, it was not easy for me). Expect headaches, difficulty sleeping, energy crashes the first 3-4 days.
