My endo started me on 2.5g androgel. Did this for approx 6 wks w/ no change felt (test actually dropped). He increased to 5g per day. Have been on this for about 4 wks. Not feeling a whole lot different yet. One thing I did notice was my nuts seem to be disappearing. The right seems to have gotten real shy and likes to stay sucked up inside me more often than not. This sucks. I mentioned HCG and he said my testes were atrophied (sp) to begin w/ and this really wouldn't help. Any ideas? thanks...

You will probably be stuck on 5 grams a day numbers in mid low range and feeling like crap and Dr will not do anything and say "your in the range" and then send you to a shrink for psych evaluation. Been there did that done that..It was actually fun with the shrink because my GF iis studying to be come a psychiatrists and I had to help her study for her tests. So when he was analyzing me I turned it around on him and he had no clue untill at the end I mentioned all the techniques he was using and theories applied. His mouth literally hit the ground and I walked out and told him have a nice day..

Im a noob at this, and not anywhere near as knowledgable as the rest of the posters, but the testing schedule and dosing schedule seems all wrong. You havent posted your actual levels, but check your package inserts, in the package insert that opens sideways, on the back part, it says after you first start, you should get retested in 14 days to check proper dose/levels, then it also says in the other insert, the longwise paper, that once your levels are normal, get retested 30, 90 and 180 days to check. Basically this doc left you in the toilet(levels) for 6 weeks, then upped it a little(5g) and is making you wait another 4+weeks.

Heres an example, subject-A, whom I am personally familiar with, testing looked like this: First test, very low t, started on 5g,3 weeks retested, t went down lower, started 7.5g, 3 weeks retested, levels way up, staying at 7.5, retest again in 3 months.

Not perfect, but compared to what your endo is putting you through, subject-A had his levels normalized in about 6-7 weeks, where as your guy had you essentially shutdown bad for 6 weeks. Its no wonder you have atrophy.

Find another doctor, the experts here Im sure will agree with this. Apparently endos are the last ones anyone wants to see for trt treatment.

Androgel is a second best way to get testosterone.
I used it but now switched to Tcream from womensinternational, 100mg/1gram.
After experimenting I ended up with 7.5 gram of Androgel, now changed to 0.75gram of Tcream
Plus 5 pills of Dual-Action (DIM) and 1000mg TMG, both from LEF. I also use 250Iu HCG (Novarel) every other day.

Your 5gram dose of Androgel looks small, but enough to shrink your balls and end up with less T than you have started with.

I am curious myself, test within about a month.
Feel just about the same on Tcream as on Androgel.

JanSz did you put the gel on first the do the test in less then 4 hrs if so you spiked your test. I have never seen levels this high on Androgel or Testim. Also if you get the gel on your arm where they draw the blood it will spike your test. I always did the blood work first thing in the morning 8am the went home and put on the gel.

I put gel around 10Am-12noon
On the day of a blood draw (8AM) I was about 22hours from last Androgel application.

Now the 0.75gram Tcream I put on my calf, area about 3"x6", after about 30 minutes I put my pants on. I did not blood tested yet, I also eat 6 pills of LEF DIM+I3C and 1000TMG also from LEF.
Had nice wood in the morning hours. My last Cialis was last Saturday.
Couple days ago I got to 4grains Armour and 10mg Cortef.
Must say, do not see much difference from this, pulse did not changed, only temperature level is slightly higher than before Armour but still fluctuates, 36.0C=96.8F to 37.C=98.6F. But mostly it is around 36.4C=97.58.
At my younger years my temperature was mostly 36.6C=97.88F

Now I would like to try HGH.
What do you know about contra-indications.

i am in the same boat as you are !! 10% is just not absorpbing at all 10% and applying 10% I was 308 WTF !!
but my shbg doubled and dht trippled LOL. I have gotten better response in the past from HCG and armidex. What sucks is I got all the tools right now but I just do not know how to put them together to be efficeinct and do not want to go trying anything else with out notifying dr. Dr john mentioned the gel, but would one go to the 10% or 5%. The creame I have feels so gritty and have to apply it to large space to get it to absorb and has not been absorbed for past 5 monts because i had to get insurance to get tested. my boobs are hurting and consitpation is a real *****, and not being able to pee either i think adding in the DHEA with estrogen imbalance was not a wise part on my dr, but like always "Everything looks normal and treat the low factors"

Allmost 4 years I was on Androgel only.
Just put on a skin as much as need to get desired blood level.
If you use different concentration of gel or cream you will not know where you end up unless tested. Put it on, wait, test, flush, repeat.
No mystery.
Mystery starts when life interferes, job change, insurance change and so on. Sometime we just pay price because we can't stick to one routine for one reason or another.

I am about month and half after I changed my routine
droped Androgel
started Tcream, HCG, Cortef, Armour
increased DIM, I3C, TMG

After I do blood test I will be able to find out where I am, for now I feel just about the same, got balls, did not loose but not realy improved much on erections.

There is a rice bran there, increase on amount of rice bran, it should ease your constipation.

Are you taking DIM+I3C and TMG
may help estrogens and indirectly prostate.
In realy hard time try Flomax, need script for that.
Flomax lowers blood pressure so watch out.

Cream, gel, same thing as regards application.
with higher concentration there is smaler skin area required.
10grams of gel is a lot, takes lots of space.
10% Tcream 3"x6" area, small.

Androgel soaks in fast, in few minutes skin is dry.
Tcream takes 15-20 minutes but since area is small it does not matter. I put Tcream on my calf, roll up a leg or just for a while walk with out pants around house.
I like Tcream better, specially because I have a infant grandson around.

when you put the t creame on. Do you do not rub it in at all and just leave it sit there. i put the t creame on and small area (for arm, shoulders,ect) "coke can area) and do not touch it and when I try to rub it in it just smears all over the place and can not keep it from dispursing all over. Could applying it to such a great area increase the DHT to 3 time the level with out eve increasing your testosterone
