I have read several post stating that saw palmetto does lower the conversion of T into DHT. I have been using a shampoo to help with MPB that contains "Serenoa Serrulata (Saw Palmetto) Extract". I have been using this product for about three months on a daily bases it has really helped with the shedding, and thickened my hair quite a bit, but at the cost of my hormones. I have lossed about 30 pounds on my main lifts, my recovery is in the gutter, tired all time, my member feels numb, and thinner, my boys feel soft. I don't take any supps that mess with hormones. The only supps I do use are protein, and multi. Does anyone have any experience with saw palmetto causing these types of problems? Thank you for any responses, or thoughts.
