ok, i went to a doctor, stated whats going on, informed him i would like tested for low testosterone. So basically I got all the basics along with "serum testosterone" checked. I assumed I'd get all the tests needed.
Nope.
I didn't get:
Total testosterone (ok, i think this is the same as serum testosterone, just covering my bases)
Bioavailable testosterone (if this is not available, get Free testosterone)
SHBG
Estradiol
LH
FSH
Prolactin
&
Cortisol
Are the above what I'd need when talking to a HRT Dr.?
The labs I have already are CBC, CMP, Lipids and the "testosterone, serum" (which, i think, is the total testosterone)
Out of range lab scores are as follows:
MPV fL
10.5 [7.4-10.4]
Mono absolute x10(3)/mcl
0.75 [0.10-0.60]
AST IntUnit/L
12
[15-37]
my lipids are ****ty, but nothing a pill won't cure...continually.
MY Testosterone is at
359 ng/gL [348-1197]
anyone got any thoughts? besides, this doc is not HRT friendly???????

anyone go any idea's on a Josie Wales type doc...at least in that area???????
