I'm not on TRT, and have pretty good total T and low E2, but have high SHBG (50) and low Free T (11). Seeing the doc Thursday to find why SHBG is high. But he's not an anti-aging kinda doc, so if I can go in with a list of labs to be done, that would help a lot.
From what I've read here, it seems a full thyroid panel would be needed, including free T4, free T3 and reverse T3. Then I would like my adrenal function checked - would that be a cortisol test? Which one? Any others for adrenals?
I assume he will do the usual blood chemistry and blood count.
What other tests would you suggest?
