Testosterone results

I want a second opinion.

3 years ago- Age 21
-Testosterone 13 (60-103)
-DHT 3.6 (0-13)

6 months ago - Age 24
-Testosterone 63 (45-85)
- DHT 12 (0-13)

So just 3 years ago (range 60-103), if I would have had the testosterone levels I have now (63), I would have been very very low.

But, now it is considered pretty good??

But my DHT is high, so does it really matter?

High DHT is good because it is what gives testosterone their androgenic effects (muscle building and fat burning effect)

Is it possible that different testing methods or different equipment were used on the two tests? Each method produces slightly different results and each has it's own normal range. See the following for an example:

Yep. my 5ar activity is very high.

same tests same company. only difference is that the range changed quit a bit because i was 3 years older

Instead of looking at number, what are your symptoms?

ZERO libido
frequent urination
urinary dribbling/stop/start
dull ache in prostate/pevlic floor
sometimes shooting pains there
no morning wood or erection

i share a lot of issues with Finasteride guys. all my issues began after a really bad illness 6 years ago

This is common sequence I see in a lot of guys who had pneumonia. Dr's can not understand when the body is understress it may not recover on its own. It may need a little help to get the systems back on line. If taking on your case I would have to need personal information in order to know where to begin in your situation. It should not be that hard to figure out where the root cause is and to come up with a game plan based upon proper testing and profiling.

I'm by no means an expert (or even that learned in blood work/TRT/HRT), but wouldn't total test/free test/e2/shbg/dht be the minimum to try and sort out hormonal problems? Along with DHEA, prolactin, etc., but those aren't the BARE minimum I guess.

The most powerful tool in my box to figuring out things is a detailed biography and medical history and then the diagnostic tests to verify what my suspicions are medically. In my experience people on forums leave out 60% or more important information which would alter the out come of how there problems needs to be approach.

I have dealt with a few cases mayo clinic could not handle. Once I have all the data and proper testing then I can have a better idea on where to go. I also have access to some of best specialist in different fields, if I have questions or need to bounce ideas. Its not about solving a persons issue, but giving them a better quality of life. The secret is one just has to keep chipping away at things, layer by layer just like an onion. I have seen m share of unique case from genetic mutations due to EMF, mitochondrion dysfunction, paradoxical cases (totally opposite of normal biology). Nothing has surprised me to what I have found.

Yes, but why?
Before HRT these variables need to be ruled out if you are <33 years of age.
