Clomiphene 3 months - great testosterone but not feeling it

    Hi.

I am a 33 yo male in Europe.
Given my low-border line test (300/350 ng/dl) , low LH (less than 2) and free test and zero libido i went to see an endocrinologist. The symptoms started since i moved to another country c. 3 years ago. Before then i was alright. I conduct a very stressful life that brings me to work very long hours and sleep c. 5 hrs per night. I am sitting all day.

In short, the doctor recommended to try Clomiphene for 3 months and come back (i had told him i would not have liked to go on HRT). Ah, i am hypothiroid (Hashimoto) and take 75mcg of tiroxine per day

After 1.5 months on Clomiphene (every other day 25 mg) , my test value went up dramatically to 612 nd/dl (270-1100) with LH at 6.0
Free test also went up dramatically since SHBG stayd low (below 20)

At the same time prolactin was much lower than usual (i always have it at the top of the range, within the range) - 9.5 ng/ml (2-25) and cortisol at 19.5 mcg/dl (5-23)

Since i did not notice any major impact in terms of additional libido /better erections (just maybe bit more frequent morning woods) i started thinking about possible reasons for that and noticed that the estradiol had went up above the limit to 62 pg/ml (12 -52)

My "therapy" is going to end in 10 days, and we will check again the tests with the doctor, but i guess 1) clomiphene can't be taken for life 2) it did not improve materially my libido nor erections,I d better maybe just resort to Cialis and dont mess up with my hormones

My question for the forum is:
    1) has clomiphene not had any effect in terms of symptoms because estradiol is going up thus neutralizing the additional testosterone available? shall i suggest to the doctor some other "experiment", maybe an additional month with some aromatase inihbitor?
    2) in your experience libido is much more dependent on estradiol unbalances than testosterone? I am thinking that a diet might improve my status, i have suddenly gained more than 8kg since i have moved into another country 3 yrs ago
    3) what should I do next? if Clomiphene brought up my T and did not work, i guess that even taking T directly (i would tend to avoid this solution) would not improve my situation

    Thanks all for the help

since on clomiphene i have gained quite a lot of weight (4kg, i am 75kg now, i am small guy so am overweight)

When total T is at good levels and the person still does not feel well then the adrenals, thyroid, and other factors need to be properly investigated. When putting people on clomid we also make sure the thyroid and adrenals are properly supported, hormone making nutrients are in proper ratio, lifestyles, and all other imbalnaces are identified and addressed. Once all these factors are all taken into consideration, the chances of patient sustaining levels of testosterone are dramatically increases at the succession of clomid treatment
