Trt test levels

My test levels started at 180. Doc put me on androgel. Tested again 12 weeks later and levels were 125! We decided to switch to test cyp shots 200mg every 2 weeks. Tested again after 12 weeks and levels are 386. Doc says that is good but I would really like it to be at least 600. I was thinking about begging the doc to try 250mg. What do you think?

Are you doing one shot every two weeks? If so, of course then if tested shortly before the next shot, you will be on the low end.

Better to get 100mg once per week. Even better to do 50mg twice per week. You can use 31g 1/4" needle with the more frequent dosing as you inject much less at one time.

This will keep you more even and off the roller-coaster.

Doing this, you will probably test close to 600 within a couple of days of each shot.
 
Yes, one shot every two weeks. I tested 7 days after the shot. Right in the middle. I will ask doc about one 100mg shot every week
 
this is a question I've had for a while... so test injections are not daily? Do you do the injections yourself or by your doctor. Also where are they injected (arms, butt, legs?) Gels are an everyday application right? Why arent injections eveyday then? It seems like t levels would fluctuate way too much without daily injections
