In your opinion which works better and produces less side effects from excessive DHT/Estrogen conversion.

Gell has more DHT problems from what I have heard and it isnt as convenient as the shots.

Is it true GELS wont get your T levels as high as T shots as well?

T SHOTS would produce less hair then?

Both work well. Gels typically will raise your DHT. Some have absorption issues with gel if they have underlying thyroid problems.

Testosterone does not cause hair loss, the conversion of testosterone to DHT Does. And the gel has an issue with raising DHT levels more so that the shots. And at that low amount of test being injected, unless you are super prone to going bald, I dont think you will have an issue.

Pins FTW

Sort of. But even DHT itself does not cause hair loss. If the genetics line up for it, then yes. But if not, no.

Phil, I was under the assumption that DHT nest it self in the hair follicle which gradually causes a degredation of the hair and hair follicle. Obviously there are people that are genitically predispossed to these issues but DHT is a contributor.

Male pattern baldness is a genetic pre-disposition which DHT speeds up, but does DHT actually damage the follicle? Doesn't it also stimulate follicles to release more oils and promote hair growth rate/area?

I haven't lost any hair or thinned from excessively high DHT levels on gel... but I did notice thinning/shedding on a strong AI that I used solo way back in the past (high dose trione for 4 weeks).

If Test is best then shots are tops.
After having gone from Testogel for 3 years now to Shots for 3 weeks I can say it is a superior method for TRT, less conversion, less mess, less hassle, no rollercoaster.

I lost hair with Arimidex but not the gels by themselves even though my brother isnt prone to MPB at all. My hairline is kind of funny, not sure the best way to describe it but it isnt a steep hairline, like it doesnt go from bald to thick hair, its a gradual hairline if that makes sense. Did your hair grow back by itself eventually?

Yeah I think it came back, I mean I can't really tell, I've always had thick hair. The hairline is the same, it was just general overall shedding. I would notice it on my pillow more and when showering, but when looking at my hair, it looked the same even at the time.

Estrogen and DHT compete with each other, if you lower E2 DHT rises, ontop of that they are opposites in what they do in the body, so its like a double effect.
