Simple Health Check

I'm 29 year old male, 5.11.5, 200lbs, about 15 or 16% bodyfat.
BMI is 27 which is high, but this down to the extra muscle that I have, not fat.
I had a simple health check yesterday, and cholesterol and blood pressure came up highish.

Cholesterol - 5.45 (but I didn't fast, nurse said if I had of fasted, it may have been slightly lower, like 5.0)
The healthy range <5.0 which equates to 200mg/dl I think
Blood Pressure - 124/86
Nurse said this was fine, but I think this is a little high, in the "prehypertension" category.

I ate some bad food in the 2-3 days leading up to the test, like ice cream, fried food, and sweets, but normally I am pretty healthy eater, probably more healthy than the average person.

I am a little concerned about these values. I did not expect them to be high and will be trying to get them down but exercising more, and keeping to a healthy diet. I am considering getting checked again in a few months time.

Any thoughts or advice etc?

Thanks,

Source of blood pressure irregularities may be checked by monitoring adrenals and electrolytes .

Eating good diet will keep your cholesterol in check.
There is many views of what constitute healthy diet.
Go to the zoo, ask what they feed lions, that is what you want.
Ask what they feed rabbits and bison, you do not want what they eat, but you want to eat them.

At you age, you deserve one relatively good checkup.

I am 70yo, I do this once/year.
