Fertitlity ?

I have read some posts on this subject but i would like to get some more info.

I have been on TRT for about a year. Started w/ gel but been on Test Cyp 150/week for 6 mths. My doc (GP) does not seem to be a genius on hormonal issues. When I first went in, I complained about low sex drive and told him I was trying to have a child. He said I will never have a child with levels like I had (around 200 TT). I think he was referring to how often we had sex rather than sperm count.

Now that my level is 715 TT, I feel good but I'm nervous about fertility. My testicle size is nearly the same but they dont seem to hang low as often. Will sperm count definately decrease for everyone on TRT? Should I go on HCG and can I run that for long periods of time?

When I go back I will request Free Test, Estrogen. My last panel seemed to include everything but those. I know he should have been more thorough originally but I was ignorant then and still now with this subject. If not for this site, I would have thouth I was more fertile based on what the doc originally said.
 
Also, before I was diagnosed with low T, I had my sperm counted by my wife's gyno doc, and was found to be normal. This was 1 year before the low T diagnosis.
 
Most men become infertile after about four months of TRT (without HCG). Some can regain a degree of fertility without coming off testosterone, by adding in HCG and/or HMG. Best chance is with HMG. Of course, a dosage adjustment down of the T-Cyp may be needed to keep blood levels from going too high.

What is HMG?

Majority of men on TRT with HCG have no issue getting the wife pregenent
Some times its the wife that is out of balance and needs proper progesterone levels of >10 in serum to conceive on day 17-21. All women should be screened for heavy metal toxicity through hair analysis to make sure they do not have mercury levels. Also should be properly evaluated for hypothyroidism which can prevent some one from concieving as well. So its a 2 way street and untill dr's understand looking at root cause more people will continue to get zinc.
 
Matrix, since starting back on TRT about 7-8 months ago, I added in HCG at about the 6 month mark. Since I was on T alone for 6 months, do you think HCG now has a good chance to make me fertile again? I do about 600iu per week.

This is a shock to me. I hope it is not to late. How much HCG do I need to get and how much to use for how long?
