ARBs for lowering glucose & lipids, reducing fat, and HELPING WOOD

I've done quite a bit of research re ACEi and ARB BP meds as of late.

I suffer from periodic pre-hypertension and hyperglycemia as a result of an autonomic condition. Extensive studies suggest that ARB meds not only reduce blood pressure, but also blood sugar, which is why endos often prescribe them to their diabetic patients. Better yet, this class of meds can help lipid profiles, reduce adiposity, and help WOOD. There are even some studies that suggest that they can help partitioning and, thus, muscle development. Some claim that the vasodialation is similar to that experienced when taking NO supplements, which makes sense to me.

In any event, all I can speak too T this moment is blood pressure and the wood, as I am awaiting blood work, and haven't been lifting since I initiated treatment. A low-dose of Cozaar has my BP at a steady 105/67 and has my wang working as well as it ever has -- it's like hardened steel, and uber sensitive. Here's one study re wood: Cozaar, a blood pressure drug also Improves Sexual Function
LE Magazine, July 2001 - In The News: Blood pressure drug reverses sexual dysfunction and...

I don't know how well the med will work for the wood if your BP is already optimized, but if not, I'd recommend some due diligence re these classes of drugs.

Hope this class of meds can help others as it's helping me.

Surprised this did not elicit more of a response. The studies back what I say, and I would encourage anyone with suboptimal wood, and BP over 120/70 to give this a try. It's helped me immensely. Alas, my girlfriend claims she is lascerated from the recent action, LOL.

Wasn't Viagra first tested in heart patients to lower BP?

Yep. And some are scripting the low-dose Cialis for this reason. These are the real NO drugs.

Also, who's the little guy doing military dumbell presses? ; )

Good find, thanks for sharing. Hopefully someone smarter than me will research this and come up with something similar that is available without a script and without the concerns about getting labeled as a high BP sufferer (for ins and life ins purposes at least). Sounds promising if the sides are minimal.

I can't rave enough about this in terms of increased libido, increased senstitivity, performance, and the old lady's sore vahina. PM me if you are interested. No financial interest -- just wanna help out other bros.

I am looking forward to hearing more trials. This ain't just a placebo effect, I guarantee it.

I just found this article this morning:

http://www.cbc.ca/health/story/2010/06/14/blood-pressure-cancer.html

It looks like the use of ARBs is linked to a modest increase in cancer rates.

Since completing the analysis, Sipahi said he now thinks twice about whether to prescribe the drugs. But he said many heart patients couldn't take other drugs because of their side-effects and they should continue taking ARBs since their chances of dying from heart failure outweighed their chances of getting cancer.

Scientists aren't sure why ARBs might raise the possibility of developing cancer, though some animal studies suggest the medications help produce new blood vessels, which would speed tumor growth.

In an accompanying commentary in the Lancet Oncology, Steven Nissen, a cardiologist at the Cleveland Clinic, described the study as "disturbing and provocative." He called for regulatory agencies to order drug makers to submit more data on their products and to promptly report their findings.
