If anyone can respond in the next two hours i'd GREATLY appreciate it!

I've been on T therapy for two months and going to Dr today for follow up blood work. Any recommendations I what I should have checked?

I was thinking:

Total T
Free T
PSA

I know that elevated estrogen levels can be a concern. SHould i check Estradoil?

Any help/suggestions would be great appreciate!

Thanks,

I ended up "convincing" the Dr. to take:

Total T
Free T
Estradiol

He was sure there wsn't any need to do a test for Free T or Estradiol. That flys in the face of everything I've come to understand through reading and researching here and elsewhere.

I hope you can help him help you. You are, of course, right to ask for E2. Need to specify Ultrasensitive or they may do the Female test panel.

FreeT is historically inaccurate from some labs. Must use Equilibrium Dialysis, NOT RIA. You can calculate FreeT yourself from TT, but also need Sex Hormone Binding Globulin test.
